last one. here's my fence that fell down in back. and you can see my neighbor's fence on the other side fell against the next house---he has to get
that one replaced too.

first off, cute house, die. looks like a cute neighborhood too.
and looks like you got lucky with the tree. from the pix, it looks like you lost A LOT of BIG branches, and they could have done major damage to your house. the tree and wind gods were with you. |

Mostly ? when I look at all the damage there and Galveston ? So glad your ok . I lived in Houston till I was 12 . We ran to West Texas a few times because of Hurricanes . Ran to my Grannys house <3 Really glad your back <3 |

i wonder how pepaw came through the hurricane? i have a friend up near there whose house got crunched right over the peak of the roof by a huge pine tree.
that tree fell from the back yard, right straight down the peak of the roof and into the front yard. he's got a fucking structural engineer coming out to
see how badly the house was damaged. THAT isn't good.
pepaw always talked about his big trees so i bet at least one of them fell. i'll have to ask him about it in my letter---which i'm working on. |
