Yeah, that's what I just heard too. We have 16 of my family members who evacuated to my house from Kemah and Seabrook. My husb and son boarded up the back
of our house because we live next to a nature preserve with several hundred 40+ ft pine trees out back. We're waiting for one to fall and crush upstairs.
Very optimistic I know!
Anybody know how to watch last night's show online? We didn't have it broadcast due to the storm coverage.

National Guard is on stand by until the storm is over to provide food, water, etc.
I am thinking Galveston may just become a part of the Gulf of Mexico by the time Ike is through. It is flooded now and hasn't rained at all. |
