Yes, it was a tie and the reason one vote went to Jason is because this person thought there would be a fire challenge and they wanted us to earn our stay.
BRUTAL! Especially thinking that happened before the final 4. Can you guess who? I have no idea why they didn't show it. Woulda been cool to see.

Yes, it was a tie and the reason one vote went to Jason is because this person thought there would be a fire challenge and they wanted us to earn our stay.The vote we saw was 6-3, and I thought it strange that Alexis and Natalie didn't vote the same. Erik and Natalie were the two swing votes. I suppose one originally voted Chet and the other Jason. Natalie hated Jason, and was more of an independent thinker than Erik. So I bet she voted Jason and Erik voted Chet. Alexis must have been twisting arms to save you, but couldn't quite do it. The editors blew a chance to give the last 3 fans standing some early character development. |

It must have been the fact that all the 'fans' were worthless and one-dimensional that the editors didn't bother to spend any more time with them than they had to.Given 20 players, they HAD to save Erik and Natalie for later if they were going to tell the stories of Mikey, Joel, Chet, Kathy, and Tracy. Also the 3 fans who went furthest played a follower UTR game early on, which is less exciting than being a wannabe leader or an outsider. |

If I understand this correctly, 5 were supposed to vote for you and 4 were supposed to vote for Chet going into that tribal council (or was the Jason voter
originally going to vote for Chet?). I would guess that Alexis and Natalie had agreed to vote with you and Jason just so Jason wouldn't think he was alone
without any allies. Then Natalie changed her vote in the second round but Alexis didn't. As for the random Jason vote, it sounds like something Kathy
might do, but I think she was too close to Chet to put him in danger. So my guess would be Erik, since he seemed like the fence straddling type who never had
any strong alliances with the other fans.

It's so true...I couldn't believe Nat made F4 after the edit she got in the beginning...it was worse than Denise's edit...been some really poor
editing the last couple seasons...

If I edited FvF it would have been the All Kathy/Cirie show. I wouldn't even have put in that Kathy left, I would have made her reshoot scenes with Cirie.
I would have totally edited out Amanda to make it seem like she got eaten by a shark the first day. It would have been Kathy/Cirie final 2 with a tie and they
both get a million.

I've changed my mind after looking at the voting confessionals.
Jason: Again, my vote is for Chet. Please leave the island. Even if there wasn't enough time to show it on TV, I don't get why they had to hide it on the insider as well. It looks
like these confessionals could have been a mix of both first and second round votes, and they just used whichever one was better. Either Jason was voting for
the second time when he made that comment, or he was referring to when he voted for Chet in episode 2. Natalie seems conflicted and reluctant in voting for
you, so it makes me think she was the one who changed her vote just to make sure she'd end up on the winning side instead of risking alienating herself if
Chet won the tiebreaker. Since Joel didn't say anything, it makes me think he was the one who voted for Jason, because if he had said something the first
time he voted for you, but said nothing the second time, I think they would have used whatever he said the first time. Which would mean he either said nothing
both times he voted for you, or he voted for Jason the first time so they couldn't show it. It also looks like Erik was certain about which way he was
voting.

Bingo. Joel had the plan to vote Jason to make us light fire to stay but when that didn't happen, he and Natalie changed over because they were tight. They
probably discussed that possibility in case. Jason was definitely referring to the prior vote for Chet during that tribal. He was the only one fighting with me
to get Chet out. Nat was just following majority and same for Alexis for not informing me what was going on cause she certainly didn't want to vote me out.
And boy was Erik was a sneak. He did the same thing to me as he did later in the game to the girls. He told me that he realized he made a mistake by voting out
Mary and that Chet had to go so by believing him was why I thought I would be safe to continue fighting the favs with a strong tribe. Foolish me.

Joel must have told Erik and Nat to split their votes like that. Should have known it was him, because he didn't vote for Mary either. The force a tie idea was really dumb, unless they were sure you'd lose the firestarting tiebreaker. |
