My computer is telling me to, but then it says "back up your system before installing."
#1, I don't know how to back up my system #2, if this update is going to crash my system, do I really want it? |

There are some suggested steps to take beforehand, but the only one I remember doing is turning off the antivirus. And I think re-boot twice afterward. I came
through it with no problem.

i installed it a few days ago Quaf on my home machine, and its been on my work machine for ages - no issues or anything, no need to backup stuff (except open
programs cuz you'll have to restart the computer).

My system seemed to survive SP3. My computer often completely locked up before the installation while on the web but it hasn't happened since. It will
probably happen this weekend.

The Crash of 06 came about because of SP2. It wouldn't successfully install on my laptop from a download, so Microsoft recommended using a disc. I
foolishly had the disc sent to me and immediately after the installation came the blue screen of death. Motherfucking cocksucking shit eating Microsoft
motherfuckers. Somehow, I didn't lose my pictures or documents after I got everything reinstalled, but I lost some other stuff.
