I don't put a lot of stock in the F2's impressions of the Jury questioning, mostly because I believe the Jury views this as their last great chance to be relevant in the game, their last opportunity to make these two guys earn the money they wish they had won, and I think they intentionally either mislead them or leave vague which way their vote will go, just to leave them twisting.

They're on their way to being sequestered in solitary until the finale (which as we know from their many discussions about "vacation," they all HATED being trapped in those hotel rooms completely alone), while good buddies Dan and Memphis are yukking it up together, knowing they've won at least $50,000. But it's that closeness to the half million that the Jury is concentrating on. They want them both to spend the next four days thinking it might be theirs, but not knowing. They all know how slowly time can pass in that house. I think they envision them both replaying their questions over and over in their minds for every second of those four days, driven crazy by the not knowing. (Won't they be disappointed when they get out and discover that neither of them was really all that concerned. They both have a very healthy attitude, confident that they did what they could, played the best game they knew how, and that it's now out of their hands, time to just let the chips fall where they may.)

But, working under the theory that the Jury tries to be misleading, I'm kind of encouraged that Dan seems the less confident of the two. And who knows? Maybe they're thinking that they're going to give him a little taste of his own "antics" and "make good TV" medicine and give him the ultimate blindside -- the runaway win after making him sweat it out.

I'm not sure where the "bitter Jury who can't acknowledge Dan played a good game" talk is coming from. It doesn't seem like anybody really ripped him like he was afraid they might (except probably Jerry). I think they all genuinely like Dan (again, except Jerry), enjoyed most of his antics, think he not only played a very good game, but felt that he got to know them and that he cared for them on a personal level much more than Memphis ever did, and I think they're really looking forward to truly surprising him on finale night when he wins 6-1 (once again, Jerry).

Call me Danlusional, but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it -- Dan in a landslide.
