BB10 Live Feed Discussion - Part IX (9/5/08 - FINAL)

If he gets rid of Keesha and the blood's on his hands, that's great for Dan. If he gets rid of pepaw, Dan's happy with that, too - again, no blood on Dan's hands. I doubt Dan has serious concerns with either scenario. The truth is at this point, Memphis could turn on Dan and go with Keesha OR pepaw, so I don't think either is a larger worry for Dan than the other. It's all about survival for Dan at this point - he'd be stupid to trust Memphis with EITHER of Keesha or Pepaw in the F3.

I disagree. It makes perfect game sense for Memphis. Jerry hates Dan and has promised Memphis that should Jerry win, he will take Memphis. Keesha likes Dan and has promised Memphis nothing at all. Dan's going to final 3, so that is off the table. Memphis thinks Jerry is easier to beat. Keep Jerry = best possible shot at final two for Memphis.

You're right, but if Dan senses the show likes Pepaw and wants him to be the big underdog winner, the tough yet lovable gramps who beats the cocky ruling alliance, then he must be very afraid of seeing him get to F3. Not even going into how well Jerry has done at some of the comps we'll be seeing at the last HOH. He and Memphis have both expressed concern about what the DR wants them to say. He must know some of what the show may do to help Jerry. I think he must be afraid, but he has no one to tell, so he's trying to keep this to himself and hope for the best.

Jerry will NOT beat Memphis. I don't see why anyone thinks he would. Even if Memphis boots Keesha, her & Renny would STILL vote for him over Jerry. I am absolutely POSITIVE on that. I can't believe anyone actually thinks Jerry could easily beat him, let alone beat him. I don't think Jerry has ANYTHING locked up, in fact, I wouldn't be shocked if Memphis won 7-0. April would vote for Memphis over Jerry, Michelle would probably vote for Memphis over Jerry, and Ollie possibly would as well. Memphis would beat Jerry in a vote, hands down.

These two have been close since the beginning, and Memphis wanted to bring her into JAMM at one point. He doesn't have to have Keesha assure him of anything-they already did last week with their "I need you in the end" talk. Keesha would take Memphis anyway, IMO. I don't think she'd take Dan, although I would love for her to. And I think Memphis is sticking with Dan to the end, not Jerry. He's all into the "Renegade" thing as much as Dan is, with the parties and speaking engagements he thinks they're getting at the end of this. Plus, I think Memphis would love to be the one to evict Jerry at the end. He's hated the guy since Week 1.

I don't see why anyone thinks he would. Even if Memphis boots Keesha, her & Renny would STILL vote for him over Jerry. Last night, Keesha told Memphis if she goes now, then she would vote for Jerry out of spite. April would vote for Memphis over Jerry, Michelle would probably vote for Memphis over Jerry, and Ollie possibly would as well. Michelle didn't hug Memphis when she left. She thinks he screwed her over. Ollie may not have been overly fond of Jerry, but he liked him more than Memphis. If those votes hold, that means it would only take one of April, Dan, Libra or Renny for Jerry to win.

JB, I do think Dan worries that BB "likes" Jerry. He's talked about it would make sense to give Jerry a good old guy edit and doesn't see how they would portray him as he "really" is. You're def. right on that - I didn't think about that. Do you think the houseguests really worry about the show favoring a player? Huh. That would be an additional little mind fuck to have to deal with - that's for sure! Esp. since they don't get to see the episodes and how they're portrayed to the viewing audience.

Thanks, Die! Where are people getting that Jerry is getting votes because he's liked? Whenever Dan, Keesha, Renny, or Memphis got in any power, who did the other side ALWAYS throw under the bus? Pepaw. Who have they all been in a fight with at least once? Pepaw. Who do they always say disgusts them more than anyone? Pepaw. Once you're in sequester, you have some time to cool down. Jerry isn't winning this against Keesha, Memphis, or Dan. There's NO way.

It may be slightly better for Dan if Keesha stays, but he didn't care about it enough to try to win POV (a move I agree with since if he had won POV, he'd have to piss off Keesha by taking Memphis off the block and putting her at the same risk she is now). I don't think he can push too hard for Keesha to stay, so he's doing the best he can by spending a lot of time with her & promoting "group time" between the K/M and himself. The only strategy thing I think there is left for Dan if Memphis goes through with booting Keesha is to try to get Memphis to win the first/endurance part of the last HOH so that he's the one going against Jerry in the second part. That would be his insurance to keep Memphis from throwing it to Jerry. I guess that if Jerry wins either part 1 or part 2 of that last HOH, Dan can play the "you won't win against Memphis but have a shot against me" card. Probably wouldn't work, but it'd be worth a shot.

I also hope he keeps Keesha, but it's not likely unless Keesha promises him to take him, not Dan, to final two should she win. If that old fart boots Memphis at the last second though? That would be funny as hell! (and smart as hell, even though I agree, not a chance will Pepaw get that money from that jury.) BB could really run with that story too. The old codger outsmarted the self-proclaimed hustler. Pretty boy Eddie still wins, even though the jury is sick at the prospect.

I really don't think Memphis has any intention of letting Jerry near f2, James. I am pretty sure this is all about the better backup plan in the slim chance that something horrible happens in the f3 hoh comps. The only decision he seems to be seriously thinking is... which one he is sure would take him to the f2 if they won. Jerry is certain (Maybe? He talks about how hated Dan is all the time) and Keesha and dan are close. In the end I am sure we will be amused by how little it really mattered when memphis and dan win the first two legs.

If Memphis saves him this week, Jerry will think their alliance is serious and to get booted a few days later by his boytoy Memphis might kill him. We saw how crazy and mean he got after the Jessie vote.
