McCain refused to give straight talk to the Spanish Inquisition on the grounds it was above his pay scale.

That's not ridicule. Don't people wish for healthy children?

OMG on that Spain thing.
I only took the most basic of Spanish courses in high school in college to fulfill my degree's foreign language requirement, but I can tell that headline in EL PAIS roughly translates to something like: "McCain evasive about meeting with Spanish president" Did McCain confuse Zapatero with the Zapatistas or something? http://en.wikipedia.org/w...my_of_National_Liberation |

Seriously, when did it become a bad thing to think the President should be a better person than the average American? God forbid someone who's
more intelligent than my retarded neighbor (oops, that's my bigotry showing) becomes President. Isn't that the fucking point of them, ya know, leading
300 million other people? Elitism is officially the stupidest attack I can imagine. Especially when the wife of the "non-elitist" candidate is
wearing a nearly half-mil dress for a 5 minute speech.

I too agree, and frequently bring that up when conservatives accuse liberals of making nothing but ad hominem attacks.

If you offend even the smallest demographic, you are suffering from some sort of ism, right? But yeah, beat your little drum. |

How ironic that in the 90's it was Republicans, and as I recall Rush Limbaugh as well, who were up in arms against the notion of political correctness.
Yay hypocrisy! |

So while McCain was predicting the collapse of Fannie and Freddie and trying to do something about it Obama was taking money from them? Keep changing the
subject, libbies.

Just making sure the liberals apply the rules across the board. Goose, gander, etc.
Political correctness only works when it applies to everyone. |

Yes. McCain tried to fix the mortgage problem back in 2005, but was stopped by Dems Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. Obama, the Sultan of Change, did nothing but
collect the second largest amount of money from them in the past 20 years... IN 4 YEARS!
He also had a top FM exec on his VP search team, and two FM execs are his economic advisers. ECONOMIC ADVISERS! Just the people he needs to formulate his way out of this mess. Once again shows that McCain was ahead of this all and Obama had no experience or clue. |
