Ford had a recession like now, then Carter came in and really fucked it up. and yeah right now in our country it's 6.1% unemployment and 6% interest rates. Can you please explain how taxation & healthcare issues are religious views. Get a life! Your comments are just as bad a cop-out as McCain's wife's view on abortion. She's not in favor of overturning Roe vs. Wade, that it should be up to the State. Biden said "views" not "religious views" Also Biden (in the same interview) claims to be against using taxes to fund abortions because that forces someone else's views on him. His healthcare plan will be funded by our taxes. Will abortion be included in this healthcare plan funded by our taxes? These are the questions that should have been asked but again it was NBC. No hard question or challenges to Dems. By the way, your red herring argument of Cindy McCain was pretty lame. Maybe you should study up on issues before you come back into this thread.

Let's say you work really hard and give up a lot of fun in order to put your family in a better place. Then someone comes by and state "You did well ... i will just take a third of that". Compare that to a loser who does not work hard and oly earns a few bucks. Then somone comes by and states "I will only take 10% of your small earnings." Now - why should some people not have the same resposibility as the rest? Because they are lazy and/or not willing to do better for themselves?
