Speaking of burying big dead carcases...I saw them (on the moving picture box thing) unearthing a blue whale carcass that had been buried on a PEI beach 20
years ago. They're going to clean off the skeleton and display it in a BC museum. Evidently 20 years is nowhere's near enough time to get rid of the
flesh. The smell is powerful evidently.

Nothings too big to cremate. Someone's been cremating back porches and sheds in my area for a couple years now. |

Tequila was born in 1970 and came to the Zoo in 74 whne we opened.
yes lots of animals have died but we have over 300 species and 5000 animals in the zoo and someare going to die sometimes! |

Our zoo had its' 5 year old elephant die of some variation of the herpes virus that seems to be common among elephants. Everyone (well, anyone with a
heart) in Seattle was devastated.

so they've covered the elephant enclosure with a giant tarp and they're letting the elephants say goodbye to her for the rest of the day I guess, then
they are going to cut her up into pieces for the NECROPSY.
SAD!! I already have people complaining cause the elephants are not on disply (the whole area is blocked off) For God's sake people we have a death in the family!!! |
