Sequestered Jury - an Advantage or a Disadvantage?

But the possibility of AP has the some potential effect. I also think sequester allows someone like Maggie, Will, or Erik inordinate influence on others, just as they had in the house. I bet Janelle wins BB6 if she made F2 and there is no sequester (James and April come around), but probably not otherwise.

On one hand, I get that winning over the jury is sort of like the final task in the Big Brother game. On the other hand, for the jurors to decide which of the two houseguests truly deserve half a million dollars, shouldnt they get more than just competitions and ceremony footage and a couple of questions answered? It seems only fair that they be allowed to base their judgment on the whole picture. And then I go back to seeing the challenge in winning over the jury and I wonder if it's better to leave it that way. I guess I just wonder how many jurors have regretted their vote after the finale when they have the opportunity to see what really happened.

As for Will I don't think America swayed the Jury, Will had three members of Chilltown on the Jury and those were the people who voted for him to win, the six other people split 50/50 with Cheryl/Kent/Monica voting Will and Aut/Hardy/Bunky voting Nicole.

I don't feel like they need to totally seclude the sequestered houseguests to the point where they can't even be asked most questions during the interviewing process. It's really, really annoying.

With the sequestering, the jury probably doesn't get the whole picture, and those in sequester obviously have their own biases and prejudices, so the real reasoning behind a move may be clouded by the fact that the jury member can't stand the F2 player, instead of that player really strategically playing the game. On the other hand, it does keep the game more real if jury members can't see what happens behind closed doors and whispered convos. If houseguests knew the jury could see their private conversations, the show would probably be more boring.

That would be something different. Also, some of you mentioned the evicted houseguests should not be sequestered, thus be able to watch the show and feeds from home so the game is more open. Well, what about if they let the contestants duriing the game watch the CBS show and feeds while playing. It would make the game more open. Thoughts?

No fan opinions, no websites, still no contact with the world, but they could still watch what is going on in the house and see what game moves people are making.

NO show because that would let them see confessionals, which would mean everyone would play nice in the Diary Room which would be incredibly boring. You'd get some strategic mastermind evicted, then that person would stay in the house and freakin campaign to the remaining houseguests in favor of other individuals. You'd probably end up with a F2 who did absolutely nothing strategically--they would have been carried along by an evicted jury member!

It wouldn't have been such a blowout if they were (she would have gotten a few other votes, such as Da Debbil's), but a lot of the people just liked Lisa better, and that nothing to do with Damnielle's DR sessions. It's not like Damnielle was Meryl Streep, successfully convincing everyone that she was their best friend. She was almost as bitchy in the rest of the house as she was in the DR. As for the general consensus that Lisa was a giant nothing who somehow just stumbled in the F2, she won 2 HOHs, including the one she needed to win the most, and she was smart enough to vote for Amy and not Eric to come back into the house. A lesser player (coughChelsiacough) would have voted for their boytoy to come back, effectively destroying any chance of them getting any further.

That might make them more bitter but I think in a lot of cases, it would make them get over it easier - especially for people like Michelle who get so wrapped up in conspiracy theories and all that.

She 100% deserved to win, but the people who were voted out were so bitter about her DR sessions. Had they not seen those, she stood a much better chance of winning! If anything, I like the idea of having the sequester house being able to see the feeds...it would be interesting to see how that would effect the game! People like Libra, who were voted out so long ago, when the house was SO different, would have a better grasp on the final stages of the game. But I do NOT think they should be allowed to watch the edited show...the shows are made for entertainment, not for actual game play. Also, if they did this it would cause people to edit themselves in the DR in the future, which is when we get to see their actual opinions and get insight into their game/feelings towards others. I would hate for one season of having this as the "twist" to cause future season's players censor themselves.
