It's a top 5 cast, no doubt.
But I think many people will agree that while Marquesas' finale was a bit anti-climatic, the cast is probs in the top 3 if not the BEST evah. It's just too bad the shittiest player won whilst the best player in China definitely won. |

When you compare China's cast to the other casts around it or pretty much any post-ASS cast, China's is the best by far in my opinion. It also had the
best editing so that helped character development, where even people like Courtney, who had very few confessionals got a huge amount of screentime and drama
following her, and enough time for us to get to know her personality. Oh and Amanda wasn't invisible in China, so that has to say something about the
editing quality too!

Jean-Robert is a renaissance man who did Survivor for a lark. I just didn't like how they used his greatest soundbyte to give away the winner. When he
said "a million dollars and some ass," I knew it had to be Todd.

China felt like we had gone back to old-school Survivor. 16 people. 2 tribes. The editing was almost perfect. Everyone had screentime. And it wasnt that easy
to predict the winner. Most people though it was Amanda. And not just because of spoilers. I didnt look at spoilers that season, and I stil thought Amanda had
won. The cast really was perfect. By far, China is the best post-ASS season. In my opinion it is probably the best season.

Yea, China is definitely the best post-ASS season, but it's only my second-favourite season of all time after Amazon. I think Amazon will always be my
favourite season, but China is close. Ooh and Exile Island was a pretty good post-ASS season too. If you cut out the fans, then Micronesia was also good.

China was an awesome season with an amazing cast. A lot of the best pre-merge characters ever... Sherea, Dave, Ashley, Leslie, even Chicken was an entertaining
enough first boot. A lot of the post-merge people were awesome too, with a lot of surprises, like Jaime being so strategic, Courtney lasting all the way to the
end and coming in 2nd, Jean-Robert being slightly endearing & funny, and Peih Gee being the ultimate underdog. Amanda was a good all-around player, James
was a fan favorite, Frosti was a good little sidekick, and even if you hated Denise, she was a unique character at least. And then of course there was Todd.
