I read the Chicago Sun-Times and they had an article about it. So it was national news and I didn't read about it here. It was also in my hometown paper too.
I just think Denise tries to hard to be funny but goes about it the wrong way. Her opening lines to people are usually to rip on them, which is okay, but there is a certain finesse to doing that and not having it come accross as a major slap in the face.
And she yelled at her kid in front of a busload of people. Yell at your kids, fine. But there is a time and a place and don't yell at them for stupid stuff like telling you there are only 2 seats left on the bus. Any respect I could have had for her, kinda was lost on that first and second impression. Sorry.

Hey, just signed up to this forum...I'm from the UK and have been a Big Brother UK fan since I was like 12 years old (20 now) and my love for that show led
me to Big Brother USA (which is even better than the UK version) and BBUSA led me to The Amazing Race (the Alison connection) and then TAR led me to Survivor
(The Romber connection), so for the past year I've had a mammoth sized marathon of Survivor, watched every season from beginning to end and I've got to
say Courtney is one of my favourite "players" ever in Survivor, alongside Stephanie, Eliza and Boston Rob of course.
So thought I'd stop by this thread to say Hi to Courtney, thought you had a great sense of humour on Survivor China, I thought straight away it seemed a very dry, British sense of humour and then in the luxury comp where it was revealed your Dad was from England it kind of made sense. :D Where abouts is your Dad from? And do you think you are influenced by British humour? |

BBUK use to be better than BBUSA, no doubt, until they started sticking in a bunch of Z-list celeb wannabes and the producers started manipulating the shit out
of it. Now I know BBUSA is manipulated but it can only be manipulated to a certain extent because there is no public vote, BBUK can be edited in a way to make
someone hated or liked and that's bullshit.
Although BB5 UK is the best season of Big Brother anywhere, in my opinion. And thanks for the warm welcome guys, wouldn't expect anything less. |
