guaranteed to at least play for a bronze.

I guess there's still some hope for our rowers? This guy I went to HS with came in 4th so he qualified for the semi-finals. That could end well, right?

He could medal though. There's the chick in mountain biking who took bronze in Athens and she is expected to make the podium again. Eric Lamaze should make the podium in equestrian individual jumping! We also have a couple of chicks in taekwondo later this week who are badass and going for gold. There's also one dude in the 80 kg class who could contend for a gold. And of course, everyone's favorite triathlete, SIMON WHITFIELD!!! goes for another gold tonight, but he's in
tough against Javier Gomez.
So if everything goes well for the Canadians, and assuming Van Koeverden medals twice, we're looking at possibly 16 or 17 medals, best case scenario.

What? NO men's waterpolo on tv today? I haven't seen anything about them playing but they won over Germany. Anyone else see them compete today?

Shawn's underage so she's immediately out of medal contention. Given that, Shawn's getting silver again. Alicia's way hotter, even if she's only a mediocre gymnast. And the Brazilian and Romanian can share the bronze. |
