Despatie in 3m springboard. I guess Gary Reed in the 800m is considered a medal hopeful. And our softball team has made the medal round. I think they're guaranteed to at least play for a bronze.

Thomas Hall in the men's C-1 1000m has been canoeing as good as anyone this year, but he finished 4th in his opening heat and will have to perform much better in the semis and hopefully finals. He could medal though. There's the chick in mountain biking who took bronze in Athens and she is expected to make the podium again. Eric Lamaze should make the podium in equestrian individual jumping! We also have a couple of chicks in taekwondo later this week who are badass and going for gold. There's also one dude in the 80 kg class who could contend for a gold. And of course, everyone's favorite triathlete, SIMON WHITFIELD!!! goes for another gold tonight, but he's in tough against Javier Gomez.
