Yup. He is a disappointment as he was a flag bearer for USA.
Kenyan runner is freaky looking. |

When you see that much of a gap between 1st and 2nd place in a sprint finals like Bolts and maybe Fraser, you kind of wonder if there is something unnatural
there.

It has to be voodoo.

I actually like a longer race (including Marathon) than Sprint. It has more suspense. My favorite part has to be Romanian woman took a huge lead and never look
back in a Marathon. Now that is impressive!

I'm convinced there's something going on with those Jamaicans.

Given similar conditions, which is harder: the marathon (42.2 km run) or the triathlon (1.5 km swim + 40 km bike + 10 km run)?

Triathlon is harder.

Well the marathon actually takes slightly longer to complete. The Olympic triathlon record is 1:48.24 (although courses are different from each other), while
the marathon record is 2:04.26. Also, running gets exponentially harder as you get beyond 15 miles or so. I would imagine, personally at least, that the
marathon would be harder. Who knows.

Marathon may take longer, but the triathlon has swimming.

Marathon runners are more likely to collapse all over the place, making great TV. Can the triathlon do that?

She's definitely struggling with control, but I can't imagine they'll pull her this early.

Countries which threaten the US medal count narrow down to China, Jamaica, every African nation, and Canada.

I wish Liu stayed. He was so good in Athens. Poor guy.. too much pressure.
I love that Chinese guy who won badminton. He threw his shoes AND racket to the audience! |
