You're right Bob, it takes at least six weeks or so to get a passport (there is an expidite process, but it still would not help them). The flight to japan is already about 14-16 hours, then you have the date changes, it is sorta like Star Trek 4 or Planet of the apes, you leave on Monday and return the previous Friday (or Summat). I seriously can't wait to find out what this luxury is. Best case scenario, it's the VMA's. And I think THAT'S hoping for too much. Dan already bracing himself for the disappointment of it only being a trip to Hawaii is absolutely perfect.

Everytime his grandmother is brought up something fishy is in that sentence. The first one was about Granny not understanding the movie RENT. The first 3 letters in RENT is Ren-ny. Maybe he wasn't supposed to trust her. Dan told Memphis he'd tell him about his Granny & RENT at the wrap party. Now this letter talks agout Granny respects the 75 year old man who is her age. That could be telling Dan to go to F2 with Pepaw. Messages about Grannys on reality shows are notoriously suspicious since asshole Fairplay. I think there's something there for sure. His Granny probably never goes to Vegas from Dearborn. That was a clue to Dan to pay attention to what Granny says.

Of course that would mean he'd definitely lose Jerry's jury vote, if he even has it.

He knows too much about Jerry to believe someone on the outside about him. They might think they know best, but he probably trust his own instincts. I think he would be in good shape against Jerry in F2, but this week he isn't in any position to keep Jerry if he does want to. Unless he won veto and took Jerry off. Very unlikely. If Jerry survives this week though, I wouldn't be shocked if he took Jerry to F2.
