Keesha won 2 competitions by default, and Dan only lost to Memphis last time by 8 seconds. Dan is the strongest competitor left in that game. If Dan was playing an emotional game, he would have taken out Jerry over Michelle last week. I wasn't saying K/M were stronger competitors than Dan. I was saying he was stronger than Ollie, Michelle, and Jerry

Maybe that's the key to clear, non-choppy feeds. Have them be so boring that everyone turns them off. Then you get all the bandwidth to yourself. And, yes, never in a million years would I take Old Faht to F2. One, I wouldn't want him to have even 50K to give to his loser son. Two, if I did take him, he'd probably have 500K to give to his loser son. Even if I didn't have the luxury of watching the feeds or the show, my gut would tell me he'd be one of Grodner's favorites... and when she has a favorite, she makes things happen.

Every player needs to rely on somebody to save their butt at various points in the game. And his decision to be AP was probably as much about greed as anyting else - which is an emotion, I suppose, but not one that's affected the rest of his game more than anyone elses. Him being "forced" to get rid of Jessie probably helped more than hurt him in the game anyway.

Just because a decision helps your game doesn't mean it wasn't emotionally motivated. Keesha's decision to go after Angie was emotional but she's doing very well for exmaple

So to me, Dan choosing to ally with stronger players has been beneficial to him. Case in point: this week. Memphis won the Veto and used it on Dan, keeping him safe for a week. That's why I say Dan and Memphis can be said to have made "emotional" moves. They are each other's threats it's just in the long term instead of the short. Dan might win this game and if he does he made a good decision. Both Dan and Memphis can't win though so 1 of them made a poor emotional decision in the end because they decided to risk going to the end with stronger competitors For people who want to win (and again, who arent floating), a good long-term game strategy is to pick allies who are strong competitors and more importantly, trustworthy (which in BB means they have as much a reason to keep you around as you have to keep them around). Dan had NO reason to trust Ollie, Michelle and Jerry. Had he sided with them and gotten Memphis (or Keesha or Renny) out, they would've come after him the following week or at the very least, done little to nothing to protect him.
