Doesn't he think that if Keesha dumps one member of her alliance for Jerry, she may be tempted to do the same to Memphis at F3? Why does he want to risk going to F2 with Jerry when Jerry could beat him?

Dan may have nominated him, but he's the most loyal person to him in the house and also the one he has the best shot of beating at F2. I don't get why he would want Dan gone.

He doesn't want Dan gone. I'd think this week made it obvious. After days of speculation about Memphis dumping Dan or just going where the wind blows and letting things play out, we've now seen that saving himself AND Dan was always the plan. Dan is Memphis' preferred F2. Full stop. Him cutting Dan out of the conversation with Keesha is just trying to play down his alliance with Dan and subconsciously make her feel like it's her and Mempis vs. the rest of the house. Instead of the reality which is that it's M/D vs. K/J, and she only has a slight edge on Jerry in who they want in F3.
