The global warming "conspiracy" is just another one of those things that Christians reject because it insinuates nature acting on its own rather than supernaturally (God) and that humans can change or control the environment to a degree to which it can be destroyed and/or repaired without the assistance of "God". The "everything will be fine because God will take care of everything" mentality is just plain stupid and naive. This is why I hate Dan and think he's an immature and big headed fool filled with small minded concepts. If he was to win this game, he would attribute it to a supernatural being's desires and guidance (God, Jesus), just like so many other fools who win awards, games, sporting events and thank these unproveable characters. Meanwhile perpetuating his young students' misconceptions of reality. This is why BB loves to get bible thumpers in there and only allow bibles to be read, it causes controversy between free thinkers and sheep.

I am the same way- I stay with my animals- If I things are gonna be bad I sent the kids up north to stay with relatives. WE have to stay because my husband is a firefighter so he's on duty through these things. We've been though 7 so far. I had to go through that summer of hell we had a few years back- 4 back to back hurricanes- it ripped off most of our roof and we had no power for 5-7 days after each one. We would lose power- get it back a week later- then another would blow through and we'd lose it again for another week. It is unbearable down here in the tropical heat. We now have a generator cause I am not going through that shit again. You just learn to batten down and hang tight. Die- if things get bad you can come stay with me in orlando- I have an extra room! For real.

Based on his behavior in the house so far, I don't think Dan believes God is making decisions on a reality show. He hasn't said God wants him to win, he hasn't tried to use his religion to define "good" or "bad" people in the house. He's treated the show as a fun experience. I think at the most he'd say his faith gave him strength. There are a lot of Christians and others who believe in God who also believe global warming exists. It's the more conservative denominations, along with the Republican Party, who team up to push the belief of global warming being a hoax.

Pisses me OFF. Most of you in those areas, if it gets bad and you need a place to stay, we have two extra bed rooms, I am just a PM away, the house and our hearts are open for as long as needed.

From what I've seen, they are the ones who ask him about it.. Not the other way around.
