Then we can all head up north and stay with OMS and McWolcott! i'm not leaving, daggie. even if it came into galveston, i'm staying put. remember the old adage 'run from the water, hide from the wind.' my part of town doesn't usually flood. even during tropical storm allison, i had no water in the house---my front yard was underwater, but none made it higher. my house is on pier and beams. alicia was a category 3 and really scary, but the worst part for me was having the electricity off in august and it wasn't off very long---i think 2 days. i can't pack up and take off every time there's something whirling around in the gulf. when people here panic and do that, you get what happened during rita. people literally died on the freeways because they couldn't get off, and they ran out of gas and the heat was incredible. before katrina, i never remember people leaving either. that scared everybody to death.

Okies, just keep your head down. My sister is in Galveston and is coming up here. She made the mistake of leaving at the last minute for Rita, and it took her 48 hours to get to Huntsville. My imagination runs rampant thinking how I know I would be that contestant everyone loves to hate, but someone with a better story would be chosen over me. Even if their story is made up. I hate that most times the people in the house have only seen the seasons they were shown after being picked for the show. Why don't they want real fans in there?

Posts: 3934 (08/31/08 8:39 AM) Dicked....by Evel that is More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Paula Deen wrote: hey y'all! im glad i found this forum to post in because ive been a big brother fan for quite some time now. there have been many days in the studio that they were spending hours fixin' my makeup and hair and i would demand that a computer screen be turned towards me so i could watch the feeds. im a big fan of renny. that ol' girl is keepin' me laughing. in honor of her hometown, and the impending doom of all them hurricanes, i thought id give y'all one of my favorite recipes so you can enjoy eatin' it while you watch the feeds. my great aunt gwendolyn came up with this and handed it down to me. gwendolyn's new orleans mudslide you will need: - 1 cup vodka - 2 cups flour - 6 cups of butter - 4 cups sugar - 8 egg yolks - 1 tbsp salt - 3 cups half and half - 1/2 cup diced ham - 1 tsp baking soda - 1 tsp vanilla extract 1. take your butter and melt it up good y'all 2. put the sugar and vanilla extract in the butter, then add your eggs 3. mix until it becomes a pale cream 4. add the flour, the salt, the baking soda 5. in a separate bowl, whip up the half and half until there is soft peaks 6. in a fryin' pan, fry up the diced ham until it is nice n' crispy and gold 7. fold the soft peaked half and half into the mixture 8. put it inside of a greased up pan 9. cover the mixture with the vodka and sprinkle the ham on it 10. set your oven to 500 degrees 11. before you put the pan inside the oven, toss a match into the vodka on top of the mixture and soggy ham 12. put flaming pan into the oven (watch your hair y'all!) 13. bake for 32 minutes or until the top has a crispy, flaky crust on it y'all 14. remove and let cool for 12 minutes. serve warm. this treat is really good and provides something great to snack on while you are doing whatever you like. it should make enough to last for about 30 servings, which should last you during all the hours that you're watchin' the feeds. have a great party y'all! love paula! I believe that he and his friends in RL do this. Lets face it there are more than one of him out there. Just be thankful they are not your dad or next door neighbor. If they are, well, sorry. I also believe he does it to try to get in with the "in" crowd, but he does this just all too naturally for it to be an act. I am not of the opinion that he is too old or stubborn to not see his faults either, he has a lot of alone time. If someone were to point out why he's alone all the damn time he just may reflect on this, may not admit it, but he'd sure as hell think on it.

I am a very giving person and I believe in helping out whenever I can and I know you are the same. There was an organization on the Internet that used to hunt phony veterans (Damnit, I can't think of the organizations name) . They busted a whole bunch of people...I think they even caught Brian Dennehy(sp?). I wish they would investigate Jerry.
