Marcus still seems like a big distraction to me, and more emphasis on how other people see him than on his own game.

Then again, this season has so many bland people, maybe he really is the one they want to focus the most on and he's not a distraction, that's just all they have.

If Susie stays I think it's more because she's not a threat than because of any master gameplay. Cirie was a smart player on a team with no leader. Jeff also said that Susie can't keep her mouth closed. That doesn't bode well for her chances.

This season so far is kind of disappointing me. Last season had so much energy, so many likable people and boldness. This time it seems to be a bunch of mean people, dumb people and dull people.

I think the hateful level is far below China or Half-Ass. There was never anywhere near the ostracization we saw with the fans tribe towards the older fans, and we haven't seen any of the bile that was spewed about Todd and his sister. Even the people who were cast to be jerks (Randy, Ace, Corinne) have been relatively mild. I think this is just a generally boring group of people who also have weak edits. Charlie seems like an OK guy and not a bad player, yet all we hear is that he's BFF with Marcus. Corinne's edit is MIA. Marcus' edit is beyond one-dimensional. Fang is made up of unpleasant, dreary people who don't have much game yet think they're brilliant (Ken, GC, Crystal) or who blend into the background (Matty). There's just not much to care about so far.

Did it seem odd to anyone else that when Marcus talked about which NuKota member would go next, Dan's name was never brought up? I mean if he were leaving within an episode or two, wouldn't they have at least mentioned him to lay the groundwork? That gives me a slight, slight hope he might make it to at least merge or jury.
