I LUV TIJUANA wrote:So far Jacquie makes Becky and Sundra seem like the life of the party. She did have that Insider clip where she told Marcus about how in love Corinne was with him and how jealous Corinne was of them, and another where she said her friends would see Marcus as the ideal husband. That's about it. |

Doesn't mean I can't like her.

That's true. I just wonder if she's going to be another of those women the show essentially punishes for making the end game by showing them as little
as possible, or in a not-that-great light.

Doesn't mean I can't like her.Well, you clearly don't like her for her personality? I mean, it's fine if you just like her to look at for the couple of seconds she's on screen each episode but...at least admit that. That's true. I just wonder if she's going to be another of those women the show essentially punishes for making the end game by showing them as little as possible, or in a not-that-great light.I think Probst and TPTB hate UTR women the most of any "group" of Survivor players, bar none. I think they're offended that they basically provide nothing to the show, have no story they can really add to the season, and don't play for themselves, but rather for runner-up-spots. So, in turn...they do something like that to their edit. I can understand how they would be frustrated, but on the other side of the argument, I don't think every girl that gets that edit actually fits that criteria. Sometimes, it's probably just easier to edit them that way. But that being said, if Jacquie actually played for herself in Gabon and prevented the men of her alliance from walking away with the easy win, we would have seen something from her by now. 3 hours of the show have been aired. |

With that type of edit I always think of Becky and Sundra, where we were supposed to have a big laugh at those silly girls taking forever in the firemaking tiebreaker, and isn't this just unbelievable, and meanwhile the previous season, Ian and Jennifer had taken a long time in the same challenge and the show never let on. Meanwhile, Ozzy, who didn't even bother to play a game for most of that season, was deified. We may be gearing up for the same this season so far where Matty, who has the personality of a comatose James Dean impersonator and who has apparently contributed little beyond reminding us not to trust people in suits, gets verbally fellated by Jeff Probst in interview after interview. I don't think the ladies will be getting the same response. |

Jeff Probst has at least commented on Corinne being a bitch, saying she would not mind since he knows what she's like. We haven't seen it yet but
pointing it out as emphasis to what she's already said about her self in the preshow interviews and the intro clip in the first episode at the very least
shows she's going to be a character to watch out for and will escape the underedited female curse.
I also found a post on another board regarding Bob, who had a viewing party, by someone who met him. Apparently Bob said that his math was actually correct and his answer fit the puzzle. It was just that the puzzle makers didn't realize there was a second answer to the problem and only fixed the lock to open with the simpler answer. ETA: I went back to look at the puzzle in the episode. There's only one possible correct answer using the numbers given that I can find so Bob was not correct. Another thing was that he was told to let his beard grow out, so I don't know if that's an indication to whether he lasts a while. If he didn't last and he left before it really grew out, would they tell him to do that?

Continue making conversation, I suppose. You'll all be wrong in the end. |

That's true. I just wonder if she's going to be another of those women the show essentially punishes for making the end game by showing them as little as possible, or in a not-that-great light.Or she could be another Amanda who they save her story for later in the game. Well, you clearly don't like her for her personality? I mean, it's fine if you just like her to look at for the couple of seconds she's on screen each episode but...at least admit that.I do like her personality. In her pre-show interviews and the little we've seen in one or two confessionals has been a very positive, likable person in my eyes. I'm not the only one who likes her. It's not like I'm saying I like Liliana, we've seen *some* of her and I've seen several interviews before she show. I have never liked a castaway purely based on looks, ever. |

The beard growing out doesn't mean a thing since unless they are returning to a fake live vote
reveal where they pretend to still be in Gabon and Bob makes F2/3. And besides that, if
that was their plan, it's too early to grow the beard to look like he had it the whole time. They start it
just about 39 days before the finale so it matches the beard growth.

I saw a second solution fitting the requirements of the problem posted on another sight. If the numbers were the ones given to Bob, there are two solutions. |

Will they award all the members of Kota the second place prize money now? |

UGH, figures that CBS would rig another fucking challenge.
Kota = true underdogs since they're fighting against EPMB. Just like Raro from CI. Come on, Kota, prevail! |

Why would they "rig it?" Someone involved with the challenges probably made a mistake.
Denise wasn't shown until 4 or 5 episodes in china. It might be the same for Jacque? |

They also made a point to show him yelling at Bob during the challenge. "Pull the damn handle, Bob!" Don't know if that was meant to be negative
or not, just something I noticed.

I don't think the Marcus "fake teardrop" thing after Paloma's exit means he can't win...I remember Chris from Vanuatu giving a smug smirk
after someone got the boot, I can't remember who, but it made him look like an insensitive jerk. Not that I want Marcus to win...I'm still crossing my
fingers for a Danni redux and one of the Fangs to pull through.
