Did Probst say anything about Susie in TV Guide? Ever? Taking what has been said before by Jeff and the castoffs at face value...

This season kind of reminds me of what Jeff said a few years ago about game theory. Remember if you have too many leaders, a follower wins and vice versa? You have Corinne, Ken, Crystal, Sugar, and Matty being (or trying to be) leaders. Bob and Susie are the followers.

Corinne, Ken and Crystal leading should be self-evident, and Matty has been trying to lead at different times (trying to direct the alliance to vote out Bob instead of Randy/Charlie, combining with Susie in a sub-alliance and trying to recruit Sugar as per Sugar's deleted confessional "Sugar's Two Alliances"). Sugar has led the humiliation of Randy, she looks intent on staying in the driver's seat as being the swing vote as she refuses to decline any offer that is presented to her... whether she follows through on her end of the deal is another matter, and she got a leader's edit in the recap. That leaves Bob who in all likelihood will not reach the final round and Susie who probably is the 2nd most likely to reach the final round (behind Sugar with her idol) as the followers.

Jeff said we would like the winner. Ken, Crystal, Sugar and Susie are the most likely to get the final round. Ken and Crystal have come off as cocky and unsportsmanlike respectively regardless of who you're rooting for. Sugar is just not liked among the jury. Marcus and Charlie were very negative about Sugar's behavior, Corinne takes a dim view of Sugar's personality, and Randy just really dislikes her. Whatever anybody says, the fact is that Sugar was going against Randy and Corinne at the merge regardless because of the bitterness between the three of them.

The feelings against Susie aren't that deep-rooted. I haven't read anything that was particularly derogatory about Susie from the castoffs, but nothing particularly good either. She's kind of there, but for being the person that put the current alliance into power, she's not talked about that often. Corinne went on a rampage against Susie when Dan was voted out because Susie was being honest about her possible vote against Corinne. Since the merge, the votes against Susie were personally driven mainly because Susie is the primary reason the Onions fell out of power (Marcus's ouster signalled the fall).

Assuming Jeff is being honest, I think the winner is staring us in the face, although it may be a Vecepia win all over again. This season has been full of journeys: Ken's, Sugar's (as per recap), Crystal and Ken's from underdog to power player, Matty's reflections after the elephant and trying to keep it real, Bob's transformation from blob to fake idol king... There's probably one more out there that's been kept from view: Susie's.
