Here's what's going on. You see a bootlist. For some reason -- and I truly am bewildered by some folks like tullfan who really ought to know better by now -- you want this bootlist to be right. Maybe it lists boots in a way that would please you as a viewer. Maybe it has one thing you're certain is right and you came to the conclusion that the rest is right too. Maybe your sense of devil's advocate has mutated into some kind of obsessive-compulsive disorder that should really be monitored with medication. Maybe you want the glory at being one of the only ones who believed what would turn out to be the very first and only accurate bootlist in the history of spoiling. Whatever the reason, you take the bootlist under your wing. Then, rather than interpret the editing and speculation objectively to reach whatever conclusion seems most logical, you interpret it to fit how you want it to play out. And "how you want" can mean whatever would make you happy, or whatever would make you right. It IS an easy trap to fall into. But it's like the fucktards who believe in intelligent design or that the towers were brought down by controlled demolition. Evidence is twisted to fit your worldview, rather than to fit what it actually indicates.

Could Corinne actually be the next boot? Sure. But if you came to that conclusion, if that's the picture you have when you put the pieces together, is it because that's the way it fell in, or because you were influenced by an outside theory that has no basis for trust? Take a look at the wiki page's history in the days leading up to last week's episode. That bootlist was hardly the only spoiler edited in. It's just the only one that still hasn't been irrefutably shot down by facts. One had Crystal going last week, and then the next couple of boots after that. Why aren't we believing that one? Just because it's already wrong? Just because no one happened to bring that one to the forum?
