Okay, I've found out who Paloma is. Her name is Paloma Soto although she occasionally goes by Soto-Castillo.

Just so everyone knows, most of the info I found using google cache because she deleted her blogs and such, so most I can't link. She's 23 from Downey, CA (don't know CA geography but we know her myspace says she's from Long Beach).

I found her xanga which doesn't tell us much.

I also found her blogger.com profile which she deleted. She lists her occupation as a server at Bubba Gump's, but hopefully she has moved on since this was posted (again, any time since 2005). She lists her industry as communications or media.

Biography
Here is a little about myself. My name is Paloma Soto-Castillo I was born the 24th of August in the year 1984. I was born in Santiago, Chile. My father met my mom while he was studying in Texas, married her and took her to South America to live with his family. I was the first child and was quickly followed by two others. When I was four my parents moved to Tennessee. We lived in a trailer on top of a hill for three years while my dad got his masters degree in theology. At the age of four I was completely fluent in the Spanish language, and I hardly ever spoke English. I started kindergarten while living in the United States and quickly adapted to the public school system. I was an extremely outgoing child and would make friends with any stranger that looked my way. At the age of seven we moved back to Santiago where I spent the rest of my childhood years growing up in the city. My dad became a pastor for a Christian church that was located close to home. The church became my second home, and taught me the importance of many things that I hold dearly in my heart today. My parents enrolled me in a private school that spoke and taught in English. I was immersed in the Chilean culture by living in the country and experiencing all their amenities, and at the same time I was being schooled in an American institute that taught me all there was to know about the United States without actually living there. The shock came when at the age of twelve my parents announced that we would be moving to Virginia to start a church in a heavily Hispanic populated area. I was devastated. This had to be one of the most difficult times and adjusting periods of my life. The transition from living in South America to the United States was incredibly difficult but ended up being very rewarding . We didn't last long in Virginia, two years to be exact before we moved to Los Angeles. Talk about another culture shock. I resented my parents at times for moving us so much. I will soon be 22 years old and have lived in 23 different houses. Change has always been a part of my life and will always be. Thanks to all the changes that have occurred in my life I have been able to make friends all over the world, have the ability to adapt well in any situation, experience and appreciate different cultures, and realize that I am capable of accomplishing anything I want regardless of where the future takes me. My parents were amazing and they still are. Since birth I have been instilled with morals, values, and personality traits that have made me the person I am today. I am passionate about many things. Children are one of my biggest passions. I absolutely love and adore them. Their innocence is something I want to embrace and take with me everywhere. I've been on several mission trips where a lot of the focus has been applied to kids in the area. I took a trip to New Zealand once as well as Tijuana Mexico (5 years in a row) to help kids, teach them, play with them, and show them a love that they so desperately need. I am also very passionate about helping others. My heart goes out to the less fortunate and those who are suffering from different types of things. We live in a world where people mostly care about themselves, this needs to change and I want to be a part of that change. I love photography, especially of people. I like capturing and studying images of faces, everyone having a different story to tell. I enjoy reading, playing poker, camping, and traveling. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to travel to many places around the world. There is nothing like visiting another country and experiencing their culture firsthand. I am currently in college and have a semester left before I finish with my bachelor's degree in communications. I have yet to figure out what I want to do with my degree. I am young right now and have something to accomplish at this point in my life. It's Africa. It will be another story to add to my bibliography once it's done.
