Around the 10-27 day of August into september the Promos for Gabon will start on CBS, they will show clips various contestants i guess, but i actually kind of like not knowing contestants spoilers. |

I dont know if anyones mentioned this already, but in jenna morascas board over in LTS, she said she knew of one female contestant who played in gabon and she
has a lot of spoilers. she said shed tell us who she knew once the cast was revealed. and it isnt a pageant girl, or someone she knew from school. i was hoping
for another tough beauty queen.

I remember last year, the cast came out on Monday Auguts 20th, exactly ne month before the September 20th premeire.
If they do the same this year, we will get the cast on Monday, August 18th. Only a week and a day away. And we have no real solid spoilers yet. Awesome! |

The interest is waning a bit, but I think the issue is mainly SEG putting the clamps on the cast being leaked. That includes strong arming the cast, crew and
*uhum* casting.

I think ChillOne was having a bit of fun with the spoiling community. If he actually was in Gabon, I doubt he would advertise that fact on a message board
while filming was taking place.

The only real reason I have been coming here this summer is to see if there are any cool artistic logos on the logo page. I'm also curious when the cast will be released, but that's about it. |

It's been a pretty boring off-season, but I think once the cast is revealed and we get to see what this new bunch of contestants look like, the interest
should pick up again.
And it always helps if Probst hypes up the new season as "one of the best ever", so hopefully that will happen too. |

For S16, there wasn't really that much spoiling done prior to the cast release as well. We basically knew who the all-stars were, but had trouble figuring
out who the fans were until Coby gave us a list of their names, and a couple descriptions of some of the contestants. Had he not done that, we probably
wouldn't have spoiled many fans at all.
Seeing that there has been so few spoilers, I hope when the cast is finally revealed, that it is a solid cast which was worth the wait, and not just a bunch of recruits like Fiji. |

At Survivor Skills, indianocean posted that there is a young doctor in the cast. His name is Marcus or Mark. He is in his late twenties or early thirties, is
athletic and was rumored to be recruited. There hasn't been a young male doctor on Survivor since Sean Keniff.
Summarizing, we know something about 6 potential contestants which is one third of the cast: 1. Crystal Cox (confirmed to be on) 2. JR Ghosthorse (he's probably on because he is a unique character) 3. A strong older woman 4. The man who has applied 13 times 5. The young woman from LA who has a weird connection to Jenna Morasca 6. Mark or Marcus, the althletic, young doctor. The TV Guide Fall TV season sneak peak issue is scheduled to hit the street next week. So, we probably will see the Gabon cast on or before next Monday. I usually get my issue on Tuesday or Wednesday. |

This is probably the closest I will ever get to having a contestant spoiler! Although, it is just a vague reference to the look of one of the contestants.
A new workmate has a good friend who apparently was on the dream team and has returned from Gabon. He reportedly was picked for his likeness to one of the contestants. He is 21 Hawaiian (presumably dark skinned) athletic and very good looking. So I guess there is a young good looking olive or dark skinned male.... ok, the more I think about this, the more I realize that this is actually a pathetic lead... I am sure we could have guessed there might be someone that looked like that in the mactor realm. |
