Since everything is usually spoiled, the cast reveals have been underwhelming for YEARS, and it might be exciting to see all the people for the first time and have it all explode in our faces at once.

Especially since they're gonna show us half the S18 cast during the preview at the reunion. It definitely sucks the fun out of the cast reveal when you have names and/or pictures for more than 3/4 the cast. Besides, the last time cast spoilers were truly enjoyable (aside from finding out the Micronesia favorites) was when Snewser was still around in Vanuatu and Palau (remember the guessing games on his site?).

The crazy lady from Micronesia, later named Kathy, turned out to be one of my all time favorite characters, when I thought she would be a total waste of a player.

To me I rooted for Kathy the first episode. I thought she was a nut and, for me, a waste of a player. fyi I was a Mikey B supporter. But I do agree that I like to find out at the cast reveal for the show!

I do! I wrote a script that submitted 10,000 names to snewser's site. The only one I managed to spoil was Kim Mullen. We've gone this long without any sort of reveal, might be best if we just don't know any. Though there is a guy on the show (Gabon) that supposedly applied 13 times and finally made it, so they're not all recruits.

Or we could look at it like if he's so good then why wasn't he selected 13 times ago. Who knows! He could be Amazing! Although this year proved die hard fans are pretty clueless when they ACTUALLY play the game ( Erik, Chet, Kathy ) Even though it was pretty mactory I really like Cook Islands. We got a lot of faves that season!

It was so fun just putting in random names, seeing if you were gonna hit it big. It's hard to describe, it was like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the golden tickets or something. Whoever gets their hands on the cast list first this year should do that instead of boringly releasing cast info as it comes in.

See, now I can imagine a man, who has to be at least 30 years old, who is a huge fan of the show and is now getting to play. At least that is a start to my imagination of how things will go down this season.
