For an automoble to have the same range or even close to present day gasoline, a car would have to have huge tanks of compressed gas. As for me....AH.....NO

This Pickens guy is not a scientist...he doesn't know what he is talking about. How bout YOU drive around with a few full tanks of barbeque gas in your truck and see how safe you feel from a rear ender? |

I wish there were more opportunities for wind power in my area. Our rates are going up again. The only place here allowed to have a wind turbine in the new
expensive Harley dealership. And they had to practically blow everyone on the city council to get it approved.

I give Pickens credit. Unlike our fucking useless gubmint, at least Slim is proposing some sort of workable plan. The dunces in Washington, however, keep
holding hearings and investigations to "discover" what they've known for fucking decades.
Oh, and BTW, didja know that Iran is in the process of switching its vehicles to natural gas, so they can sell more of their oil to us stupid bastards at 120 bucks a barrel. |

This dude is only looking to make lots of cashola the old fashioned way: get government involved to cover your costs and then rake in the profits. The whole
energy angle is just a cover for his real plan which is to deliver water to southern cities like Dallas/Fort Worth from the Ogalla (sp?) aquifier. He's
going to push the energy plan to get the politicians to help him get the right of way which could also be used for water distribution which will make him the
real money. He could also use the right of way to transport natural gas and electricity, but the big money maker will be water and not energy.
