Canadians haven't elected Stephane to anything. EOT types in Quebec elected him to Parliament, Liberals elected him Party leader... neither group are real
Canadians.
Canadians are still sick of Quebec Liberals. I actually think the Liberals and Conservatives will end up with similar results if they go to the polls this fall. But Stephane will be out of a job... and Harper will remain PM. I doubt Dion will quit voluntarily. The bloody knives will be thrusted into this dumbasses back soon after the debacle. That is the part of Canookian politics I prefer to the US style. Sacking a sitting party leader who refuses to go quietly. Bloodsports rule. |

If I lost with Duceppe, Layton and Dion as my opponents I'd crawl into a wood chipper. You have to be a complete useless moron to lose to those three
stooges. Luckily Stockwell Day isn't still leader of the Conservatives (See? I am consistantly against maroons, no matter which party they stink up) For
the record... if Liberals had Manley as leader I'd be content to have him as my PM. He is a good egg.

I've voted NDP during the past 2 federal elections. It's basically a wasted vote but I can't bring myself to vote for the Liberals or Conservatives. |

I see dark days for the Libs for a few years. The Dion people hate Iggy. Even some lifelong libs hate Iggy and call him a carpetbagger. If Bob Rae becomes
leader the Ontario Liberal machine who hated him when he was NDP Premier of Ontario (when he was the most fiscally irresponsible leader in Canookian history)
will sit back and avoid campaigning.
The Libs need to bring back a Manley type, Alan Rock or even a Brian Tobin. The Chretien upper echelon were pretty slick at looking Ministerial. The current crop are B-grade at best. |
