Oh dear God, Vic
Like I said, the Crack Pot Fringe is not the voice of the Majority. Kinda like Harper... |

For NOW, Jakob. For NOW.
Canadians bounce around like ping pong balls. When Dion gets the boot (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE) next week, Canadians will change their minds...again. I put absolutely NO stock in polls. Harper was supposed to have a majority based on poll numbers. Yeah. $300 million ego bloated dollars later, he has ANOTHER minority and should join Dion in the political hinterlands. Seriously. |

The Liberals have tainted the brand. Not one of the future candidates stood up to the lunacy. Leblanc supported it. Bob Rae was knee-deep in it and it's
biggest cheerleader. Iggy was the only hope for sanity and he turtled worse than Matthew Barnaby.
Jack Layton threw his hail Mary and it hit nothing but turf. Conservative majority to come. |

The facebook war - two largest for and against groups
112,551 against it the largest pro coalition facebook site is an old page from the election campaign at 19,979 if you can't win on leftie facebook you are dead as a movement. Ding-Dion, the pitch is dead! |

Um guess what? Don't care about the coalition.
Never did because I knew it wouldn't fly. Harper will never see his majority. That is all I care about. Come the next election, this wil be trotted out by a dying minority government and mercilessly mocked by Iggy in his position of Liberal party leader. I seriously hate your politics, Vicc. It is like listening to the lone, dying wolf in the forest. Just another tired, old school howl I have to learn to ignore so it can die in peace. |

Yeah SA, Harper won't around for the next election. He is toast. I still get old Unite The Right friends emailing me. I would say the anti-harper sentiment
in the Tory party is just under the surface. Between this and the social conservatives hijacking the policy conference last month, a wave is coming.
I laugh at the fact he has his highest support ever. It is useless. Iggies dream is running against Flaherty though. Flaherty is even more boring and an ideologue than Harper is portrayed to be. Flaherty quit the Provincial Ontario Tories when he came second. He is a gutless wonder, who has less of a personable demeanor than even Harper. Prentice might be a match for Iggy. Not as cold a fish. |

A Prentice lead Tory Party, I would consider voting for.

Harper was supposed to have a majority based on poll numbers. You must be an idiot or have selective memory. Harper went into the election campaign with majority numbers, as the election approached, ALMOST EVERY LEGITIMATE POLLING PLACE PEGGED HIM FOR ANOTHER MINORITY. dumbfuck. |

he lost his majority over the Quebec arts funding... or lack there of.
which is a pretty shitty non issue to getted fucked on. Quebec cheese... never enough. |

Didn't Harper lose confidence thingy over funding for political parties too Jakob?

I was talking about how he went from the verge of a majority Gov to the minority he got on election day.

Yes, my question was about this current overthrow of the government. Heaven forbid that Quebec loses funding for some artsy fartsy funding! However could I
have lived without that?

I would say the anti-harper sentiment in the Tory party is just under the surface. Between this and the social conservatives hijacking the policy conference last month, a wave is coming. This is what I was saying the other day. If the Tories want to nip this in the bud, then the best thing to happen is for Harper to resign. Pretty hard to argue the coalition if he's on his way out. Plus, a huge part of the reason the Tories can't get a majority is that people believe all the horror stories about Harper's ideological views (to which he's added fuel to the fire with his recent actions). You replace him with a more left-leaning conservative (preferably, one from Toronto or Montreal), and I think you could easily see a Tory majority |
