Off centre VHS home video camera zoomed in too close and unfocused.

Global took the hit and said it was Global's technical problem and not Stephane's that caused the delay.

The man sounds like drunken illiterate habs fans.
So leeter hears this.... half the nation will not see this because of Dion losing the tape and being 20 minutes late.... just like Joe Clark lost his luggage and mittens. |

CTV newsnet seemed to break into Dion's tape in mid sentence... actually, it probably HELPS his cause if people DIDN'T watch him. |

He promises to create jobs as his last statements.
Global boiled all his rambling down to "Dion has written the GG and is in the position to take power. Spoke directly to the people of Canada and said "trust me"" |

I'm watching the French CTV, and they're using the word "separatist" to describe the Bloc. Strange how the CBC said he used
"sovereignty".
RDI has the French version of Dion's reply on right now. |

Duffy talking about the bad video, out of focus and too tight.

The book "Hot Air" was top left in the picture. BIG letters. I think that was why the camera was veering to the left.

UGH, if anyone gets the French CTV, it's literally just a huge fucking screen filled with Dion's mug.
And he ended with the "I will work night and day to fix the economic crisis, to create jobs and to serve Canada." Gilles is on RDI right now. |

It's telling that all the Cons can talk about is the production values.
And what, if anything, did Harper have to say tonight? |

All you talked aboot was how Harper looked. Just as shallow, if not more.

I swear between the mild Harper speech and Dion's complete fucking incompetence, you people will be so happy when I become Liberal Prime Minister in 8 or 9
years.
I will put on a show for Canadians and bring passion and fire that will make Obama look s inarticulate as George fucking Bush in comparison! Jakob! F'in! Speed! |

People need to understand Harper's economics background to understand why he's doing what he's doing.
I had a class last year with Harper's undergrad prof who was also his MA supervisor (at the University of Calgary). He still advises Harper.... Well, just like this prof, Harper is as far right as you can go when it comes to the economy. He won't touch it, and I actually believe he is doing the right thing. Instead of trying to bail out the economy, he's going to let it fix itself. I remember a report a week or two ago about the economy returning back to a stable position by 2010. By the time the Liberals do this bail out, for the effects to kick in, the economy maybe close to fixing itself. It will just force us into a bigger deficit, something we don't need... always seems to happen when the Liberals are in power. I also find it pathetic how the liberals don't even have a plan, yet they claim they can help us. It's all politics, and it's making me sick... they're playing power games while Canadians are suffering. Dion is a power hungry bastard. Policies and partisanship aside, I think we need a stable government right now, and that coalition will not provide us with stability. |

Duceppe's saying
- By fueling the fire, Harper has shown himself undignified and unfit to govern the H of C - The Bloc will not be part of the coalition, but it will support it for 18 months as long as it's in the interests of Quebec. - Mr Harper has not taken responsibility for his parliament and wants to have us vote again. - Harper has spoken about the same things as he has for a few days, nothing new tonight |
