What was with all the lifts tonight? Carrie Ann called out Brook on her first dance for doing one then every dance after that had lifts & she never called
anyone else out for them. She'd say something else like, "That lift was appropriate for the dance" or some shit but she never called them out
for doing it.
I think the powers that be gave them permission to do lifts but didn't tell Carrie Ann until after Brook's dance. |

I wouldn't be surprised if Brooke left, but I think she has gained enough fans since the start of the show to get her through to the finale. She deserves
it the most out of anyone. Hopefully their OTT dramatic reaction to Brooke being last gets the votes out. If not, I don't have to watch next week. In that
case I hope Warren wins, since Kym is one of my faves and she's the best choreographer.

I assume that certain dance styles allow lifts and for other styles lifts are a no-no for the routine... kinda like breaking a hold in the tango (except in the beginning and end) is taboo for the tango but okay in other dances. I could be wrong but that's my thought. That's probably true. But one of the rules since season 1 has been no lifts in ANY dance till the finals & during the freestyle (not the semi-finals). And they always announce it's officially OK to do them beforehand. |
