Oftentimes someone not on the block would win it and then not use it because they didn't want to upset the HOH. With only 6 people, the odds are increased that the veto will be used. A veto used = more entertainment for the viewers. I hate the random ball bag system as it has a potential for rigging (why don't they let the HGs look inside it to verify it's fair... hmm???). My ideal POV player system would be this: Only the HOH, the nominees, and 3 people of their choosing play. (Much like in the past ala S5). However, to prevent backdooring, only POV players could be nominated should the POV be used. I think that's the fairest way to go about the POV, and it creates a lot of tension (especially for those 3 chosen HGs, knowing that they could go up on the block)

The one veto competition that comes to mind that it was obviously rigged was week three in Allstars- the one which Chicken George won and Kaysar and him had to shave their heads and he ended up on slop for 60 days. That veto competition only included guys... how would the girls if they were competing WANT to shave their heads? And if Marcellas played and made it to the head shaving part, it just wouldn't have worked since he doesn't even have any hair!

I liked Natalie, but that was an amazing eviction. :P Dustin's in BB8 was awesome too although it was the climax of the season and it was all downhill big time from there. Why does it increase the chance to be used? Because the odds of a person needing it winning it is much higher when its six playing compared to 12-14. :P In BB3 when they introduced it completely random people won it pretty much every week except for the week Marcellas won it, and of course even then he didn't use it :P Ironically enough until this week this season was pretty much BB3 from a veto standpoint; used first week then not again after that, even with it down to 6 people playing each time.

It followed the week where he found out Adria /Natalie were twins and that live TV reveal featuring his I'm totally screwed face. Making it almost the best week in BB history.

If one of the three players not on the won the POV and used it on someone on the block, then there are only two choices for the HOH to pick from. It seems like that would actually limit the power of the HOH. And it gives those not playing in the POV a safety pass, which doesn't seem fair. If you weren't on the block, then why would you even want to play POV? You wouldn't. Playing POV would be a 'sub-nomination'. You get to play, but there is a good chance that you would go up if you didn't win it.
