I have to say don't you think its impressive that a Television Show has so much dedicated fans to talk about it that they form forums, write their
opinions on contestants and twists, and even form fan type games and fanfic writtings on them?
I mean I thought about how I can't really think of any other show that gets as much attention and dedication from its fans then Survivor.
Sure we say the ratings aren't as high and that some of the contestants chosen for the cast may be questionable for why they're really on the show but,
in the end don't you think that a large reason why Survivor is still on television is because of the dedication the fans have for the show?
Just a thought!

I agree 100% which is why I think there'll be a huge outcry when it gets cancelled. It WILL last beyond season 20, in one form or another, on CBS or some
other network, with Jeff Probst or some other host.

It'll just end, like Friends, Seifeld, and sevreal other shows that would still go strong today. Maybe that's what you meant when you said cancelled, but for me, cancelled means pulled of the air due to lack of viewers. |

Yeah, that's what I meant. I should've clarified. I don't think it's gonna get pulled off the air mid-season or anything. It'll be like
"be sure to tune in this fall for the last Survivor ever!"

They would never pull it mid-season because there would still be all those episodes made and they would at least air them. Then they would promote that those were the last episodes. So when it is going to end, we will know. |

And, I think Star Trek STILL has numerous fan boards, years after it went off the air. Heck, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" even has conferences on it. |
