Please forgive me for following your lead. I thought since you've said about 500 times how much you hate the old guy, it was OK for us to repeat ourselves. Silly me thinking folk here would practice what they preach.

By getting them to commit to the alliance, it's almost as if he was asking them to pledge their faithfulness to the "team". I thought at the time - and still think - this was GREAT subliminal game play. Making them all feel a part of something, and giving them each a task to perform - making them feel like they were contributing something to their "team" great POST.

Great insight but I still wonder if it's good for his game. This is a selfish game after all and not a team effort just as Angie described when she left.
