Someone (not Dan) wins HOH, Dan is not nominated Someone (not Dan) wins POV If the chain of events above make Dan feel like he has the possibility of being a replacement nominee, then during POV ceremony Dan shows his fake platinum POV and says something to the effect of he has received the platinum POV that would allow him "deflect" being the replacement nominee (basically trying to scare anyone from putting him on the block as replacement) I don't think Big Brother would try to stop him -- basically he's trying to talk his way out of being put up as a POV replacement and he just has a shiny prop to help with his argument Personally, I hope it doesn't come down to that tonight, but it still could be epic Joe, I just don't think he'd use it tonight during a live fast forward. IMHO I don't think he's deluded himself into thinking he can really use this as a way to get farther in the game. It just seems like a bit of folly on his part. I also think he'd be too cognisant of it being a live broadcast that has to be closely managed by CBS/BB. For that same reason, I think that if he actually did try to use it BB/CBS would put a stop to it. They certainly don't have time for unscripted tangents.

The comment Poops made about Keesha ........shaking my head . It allways disturbing to hear an elderly person say " pussy " . He is just beyond disgusting and in need of death ASAP . The context he said it in says hes thought about fucking Keesha . The first time I heard an elderly person say pussy , I was about 7 . My Granny was in the front seat and we had driven to the store . She watched this woman get out of her car and my Granny knew her and did not like her one bit . Granny went red in the face with rage and spit out " That woman thinks her Pussy Powder dont stink !! " OMG I about died right there . Then all day long I was like " What is Pussy Powder ? " Granny wouldnt tell me for years to come what it was . She was ashamed that she had blurted that out in front of me . so on that note .....here is to hoping Poops goes out tonight right after Michelle goes Thank yall for the updates <3

Cleofuss, thanks for the insight... thinking more about it, you're probably right. I'm putting too much stock into already knowing about the Fast Forward eviction tonight. Now this fake veto is just yet ANOTHER reason for me to hope Dan is able to survive tonight's eviction. How will he implement it? Would he brag to Memphis that he made a fake POV medallion? -- he'd explain to Memphis that he would use it to try to keep himself off the block with Memphis (and thereby being able to vote to keep Memphis whoever he is up against) Would he show it to Keesha? -- thereby securing Keesha from ever POV nomming him and hoping she'd blab to Renny and negate Renny from considering nominating him as a replacement Would he show it to Jerry and/or Ollie if they were to win HOH and if they didn't initially nominate him? In reality, due to the Fast Forward tonight, the only times a "Platinum Power of Veto" would be able to be "used" as leverage in this season will be during tonight's Fast Forward episode .. or during this coming week's HOH reign (after we're down to the F5) So it's definitely going to either be worthless (Dan evicted OR Dan not evicted and Dan/Memphis F5 HOH) or he'll try to utilize it during the F5 HOH <rubs hands together> ETA: I guess in theory, Dan could attempt to use it during F4 HOH week, but it really would only be applicable if Dan wasn't F4 HOH and the HOH didn't nominate Dan, but then HOH wins POV and plans to nominate Dan as replacement (which doesn't make a lot of sense) Last Edited By: JosephBlowinsky 08/28/08 9:42 AM. The one thing he's going to have to be careful about is his wording. He and Memphis have talked a lot about the 'rule' that you can't use production in your gameplay. So, he's not going to be able to say "I was given this platinum POV...." He's going to have to figure a way to present why he has it. hmmmm
