Jerry is pretty vile I admit but so are Keesha, Memphis and Dan and even Renny at times. Now, they are bashing April big time who is not even in the house anymore. Those 3 are just as vile and alot more cockier and narcisisstic and pretend like their shit doesn't stink.
It would be admirable if you were championing racism, but you're not. You think everyone who isn't an african american is a racist. It's your assumption. It's how you see the world and it makes me sad for you that your hatred clouds the way you see the world so, so fully. It really sort of hurts my heart.
The topic at hand here, that you wrote about, I don't care how you look at it, you're just dead wrong. Jerry, Ollie and Michelle talk shit ALMOST 24/7 about Dan, Keesha and Memphis. It's ALL they do. And they're not just talking shit about them, they are saying extraordinarily slanderous and vindictive things. Using terms like faggot, cunt, molester. If you're truly championing racism, Serena, it should make you SICK to hear someone use the word "faggot" because it's an extremely derogatory remark singling out someone based only on their sexual orientation. Nothing is more closely related to racism than homophobia.
I don't argue that Keesha, Memphis and Renny talk shit sometimes, too. Dan, however, has NEVER spoken ill of another houseguest. And when Memphis, Keesha or Renny say something, it's something like "the Colonal drives me crazy because he doesn't wipe his ass and then comes into the kitchen and handles food" or "I think April is a bitch" or "Michelle and her baby talk is driving me crazy"
This is on an ENTIRELY different level of what Jerry, Ollie and Michelle are doing. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how you can't see that. This isn't a matter of opinion, it's pure and simple reality when you watch the two different groups.
Not only that, Serena, but Keesha, Memphis and Renny hardly ever talk smack. They spend most of their time talking about life, stories, strategies in the game, life outside of the game. Jerry, Ollie and Michelle? They hardly EVER talk about anything else.
I know this is an exercise in wasting my time, but I just wish somehow you could break through your clouded view of the world and see people FIRST as people and not have your number one thought be about racism. It might surprise you to find out there are a great deal of people out there who truly don't ever think about the color of ones' skin. I'm one of those people. It never enters into the equation for me and isn't part of my every-day thought process.
Don't get me wrong, I am always glad to see someone stand up for what they believe in - be it fighting stigma against mental illness; fighting racism; homophobia - but ANYONE who has any one of these issues as first and foremost in their mind and set in black and white terms (you see the world ONLY in terms of that one thing instead of seeing all the glorious shades of grey), it's really just a travesty against the very fight you're fighting. You become a cartoon character and no one takes you seriously because your views are so extreme they're just wrong 90% of the time.
You call people out on this board racists without even knowing what race they are. Perhaps they're white, but their mother or father was african american. Perhaps they're hispanic, but they're married to an african american. You can't know, and it makes you just laughable in your extreme viewpoint. It really is a shame and I hope you someday will be able to see shades of grey.
