season 4 was painfully boring.
True, Season 4 was no season 1 or 2, but we did get one of the funniest scenes ever- Christophuh's "Intervention"!
I am hoping that the Russian from the woods turns up alive.

I forgot! I also read that this season will take place 2 YEARS from where we left it. At least David Chase is aligning Soprano's time and real time, right?
eta: Pure spec on the two years thing |

Much as I loved her sweet ass, Adriana has to be dead, or that would mean Silvio, Tony's last reliable guy and consigliere to boot, is just as inept as all the other shits he's had working for him. Not cool.
Unless Tony wanted her to be alive and is planning to teach Chrissy a lesson (but this isn't ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, so I doubt that). We need to see what's going on with NY plus 2 years seems too long of a break. The world hasn't changed that much since the last season of THE SOPRANOS. |

HA! That was classic. I love Silvio so much we named our new puppy after him.

I have toyed with the Adriana dead vs. not really dead thing. Ultimately, I agree with:
Quote: We heard the gunshots. Silvio would not have fired gun for effect. He is just too simple a character for such drama. |

I'm sure we'll see Adriana in flashbacks. But I'm afraid she's deader than Dumbledore.

I think Pussy got twice as much face time dead than he ever did alive.

Silvio wacked Adriana ... come on, he's a guy who owns a strip-club in Jersey, women are just commodities to him and Adriana went bad.

Is this the last season, like every season before has claimed to be? Because they're running out of people to kill. That and the long ass delays between seasons.

It would be great if Adrianna returned. There are lots of believable ways they could do this.
But even if they did it in a less than believable way, who cares? She was one of the best things about the show and having her come back would be worth having many of the others disappear - especially Tony's sister (ugly fat pig). Ha! She must have a lousy press agent cuz I can't even remember her name (real or stage name). If this is the last season, I would end the show by having Meadow take over from her dad and become the new head of the Jersey mob. The conflict between her Ivy League attitudes and education and her family loyalty would make for a great story line. Besides, her character seems to be the only one equipped to run the family after Tony is gone. |

Topher - so did we. It was SO hilarious for some reason - his gruff delivery totally made it even better
Dicky - from what I've read, after this run they come back in Jan. 2007 to finish it up (maybe 10 episodes?). I know it's a shorter season. |

Quote: Mmmmmm Ketchup Packets. I like the one where Ralphie kills that stripper. I think b/c he does the funny Gladiator stuff. I also like the one where the Feds are trying to get the wire tap into the lamp in the basement. And the one where Melfi gets raped b/c you can really feel her anger, and you want so badly for her to call Tony to take care of it. And the one where Chris goes to the set of Jon Favreau's movie w/ Janeane Garofolo & Sandra Bernhardt and volunteers "Bukkake...." It would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to pick a favorite episode, but I think one of my favorite scenes is when Tony's in the car by himself singing "Dirty Work" by Steely Dan. Tony's so hawt. |

The FBI wire tap episode. It was one of the few times the show tried a more lighthearted and comical episode and succeeded.
