BMW 2002 - the 200 is a series #, the second 2 means it had 2 doors.

Half credit - The 2000 referred to the 2 litre engine. Oddly enough, the 1600 produced at the same time was not referred to as a 1602 that I recall. Also
interestingly, they made a model called the 2000. They also had a 2003 hatchback, but I don't think they exported that to the States.

So did the 1800 have a 1.8 litre engine?

What does the 45 stand for in Colt 45???

I presume so. I can't recall that model. Myself, I would love to get a Volvo 1800E and turn it into a rag top...

Instead get a 200 series volvo and put a small block chevy v-8 into it!
Oh, and the 45 refers to the caliber/barrel diameter. |

Don't you mean BOTTLE or CAN???

It is named Colt 45 because it was once sold in 47.6 fluid ounce cans (1.7
litres).

Why wasn't it called Colt 47.5? did Billy Dee Williams have trouble pronouncing his s's?

I'm still waiting on the Jag and GT40 numbers.
Here's a softball: What does the '250' stand for in the Ferrari 250 series of the fifties and sixties ( James Coburn's 250 California Spider recently sold for more than $10 million ) |

What does the "33" mean?

GT stands for grand tourisme i am not sure about the 40. I am pretty certain it is not engine size, I think it has something to do with the body style or size.

I wiki'd it:

No. It was on the bottle before twatty pimpkins was even born.
I think it's because jesus was 33 when he died. |

Knew the Jag and GT40 info. Damn wiki-ers.
Doesn't the 250 have to do with the wheelbase? |
