That's THREE seasons without one alpha-males team!!! That's very obvious that TAR Shitheads want some chick or old hack teams to win. It's more like they want ANYONE to win besides the most predictable team. Hopefully the Maddicts were the swan song of alpha males on this show, at least for a long time to come.

And of all the alpha male teams, only one didn't make the top 6, and only two didn't make the top 4. The problem with Alpha males is that they generally don't fight with one another and they focus more on just racing. As a result, they take up space and make the season hard to watch. Women, whether in female teams or couples, have entertainment potential because our gender is naturally more emotional and prone to outbursts. So that's why they've been casting fewer Alpha males. Because they almost always go far and bring nothing new to the show.

Eric/Jeremy were the only alphas with personalities they've ever been able to cast, though Chris/Alex and Derek/Drew at least had a decent storyline (which Reichen/Chimp, David/Jeff, Tyler/James etc. lacked) They've still cast way more young stud teams than older guy teams - they've still yet to cast a proper team of two grumpy old men, so they should take priority over more bohunks.

Oh, and Reichen/Chip provided plenty of entertainment in the beginning, fighting with the other team, with Chuck/Millie etc. There are lots of oldies, chicks, M/F couples are boring too, why do we have them every season? They don't cast Alpah males not becaues they are boring, it's because TAR want some bitches team to win so TAR CAN CLAIM THEY HAVE ALL TYPE OF WINNERS, ALL INCLUSIVES!
