This created a big problem last night. So, I was serving on this table that was celebrating a birthday. The head of the table was a Muslim guy and his Girlfriend/property was celebrating her 30th. They seemed non conservative since the woman wasn't covered in a bed sheet but that could have been attributed to it being a hot and humid Texas summer day. Anyways, I drop off some bread and appetizers which the Muslim guy takes and starts to handle out using his hands. Two blonds and a gay at the end of the table start whispering. I made myself towards that end, to do some refills and could hear them saying " hell, no, he probably didn't wash his hands" "Yeah, I know, they don't", indeed he had returned from the restroom second before the appetizers arrived. Being the great server that I am I went ahead and brought another round of complementary appetizers and sat it near the end of the table with the blonds and gay.

The Muslim guy then motions me to his side and asks what that was, I said another round of Appetizers, he looked perplexed, being the head of the table he was ordering all the food. Then it got ugly.

He asked why i had brought them, I told him the truth, people in the table had been complaining about his level of cleanliness, he looked at me like WTF, I was like "uh-oh". I looked to the side as if I was needed elsewhere and began to walk away but he grabbed my wrist, I exclaimed "ew!" which made everything more awkward. He was pissed, He told me the sign in the restroom about washing hands only applied to disgusting low life employees like myself, i was very offended and I'm pretty sure he knew I was Jewish. I told him I couldn't have people eat food that I knowingly was aware of him handling if he didn't wash his hands, he told me it was none of my damn business, but I told him maybe not, but the table sure thought it was their business not to get sick.

HE ran to the manager, we where too busy for another server to take over, I brought the food out along with a small plate full of hand wipe napkins. He left no tip, luckily some of his friends did, but non the less the party celebration was ruined because Muslims don't wash their hands. WHY? do they think Poop is sacred?
