Need help
We are currently using an inherited home computer that I think was built in the late 70's. It is, for lack of a better term, a ticking time bomb
We went looking for computers today, and quite frankly I cannot see the point of spending even $1000 on a home computer (and the good ones seem to be
$2,000) All we use our computer for is:
-Trolling the internet
-Saving pics/vids of baby
...and thats it. My husband doesn't even have a freaking email account. I generally don't work from home, its easier just to go in.
So I'm pretty tempted to buy a laptop, which it appears I can get a pretty great one for $700. I figure by the time my kids are older and really need a
computer for school stuff (easily another 5-7 years) I can then buy a more current computer, and still have the laptop.
So? Am I nuts? What would you do?
