Her "voice" was completely void of any kind of passion. It was the same robotic monotone "singing" that made Rihanna's early albums suck ass. Britney's voice wasn't at all anything special, but at least it wasn't 100% monotone, and I believed her in the songs she was singing. "Miles Away" was the only halfway decent song that didn't sound like Britney's leftovers.

The Outlaws (Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Jessi Colter, Tompall Glaser) There are bound to be more, but these are the ones that came to mind while reading everyone else's lists. And there are very, very few that I would argue with. um you like Razorface from Madmen Across The Water?

At first I wasn't sure if I didn't like it because "Confessions" was so hard to follow up, but nope, it's horrible. Like, "Bedtime Stories" horrible.
