Well, you know what, haters? Some of us want to discuss movies! Some of us LIKE movies (even bad ones - but not The Happening). So let's just bitch, moan, praise, admire, covet and explain movies in this thread so as not to cause anyone the need for Ibuprofen. >: \| Quick rundown of my opinions so far this year (including Netflix selections): * Cloverfield - YAY! Loved it even though most people didn't grasp the concept that it wasn't as "realistic" as a movie about a 50 story tall monster attacking Manhattan should've been. * One Missed Call - Noo.....no.... [/Family Guy Mexican maid] * The Eye - started of decent, and then got REALLY stupid! * Diary of the Dead - could've been SO much better if they had not tried to make it into a political movie * The Signal - NO NO NO!!! This movie was so strange! It starts out creepy and scary, then goes apeshit retarded comedy, then goes to sci-fi ending. ???? * The Ruins - a bunch of teens get trapped on top of a "temple" by these zany Mexicans, and take turns trying to go down this well, only to fall and get hurt over and over. Oh, and then the plants try to eat them. * Prom Night - same premise as The Ruins. A bunch of teens are in a hotel ballroom, and they take turns going up to their suite, only to be killed by the killer who is hiding up there. * Baby Mama - definite chick flick, but I like Amy Pohler (sp?). * Iron Man - <3 it all. Even Gwynneth Paltrow. And that's saying a LOT. * The Strangers - could've been GREAT, but fell flat and ended really stupid. * Kung-Fu Panda - So c00t!!! Kinda long and boring though. * Wall-E - So c00t!!! This movie was very good. * The Happening - Just when Wall-E revived my faith in Hollywood, they release this shit. The commercials made it look awesome. It totally wasn't. Grass kills people while they run around. STUUUUUUUPID!!! * The Dark Knight - I hate Batman. Hate his comics. Hate his costume. Hate his character. But I fucking LOVED this movie! It was very good. * X-Files: I Want to Believe - I liked it, but I think I'm the only person on the planet who liked it (or went to see it for that matter) * Star Wars: Clone Wars - Don't even get me started. >: \| OKay, so now just ramble on and on about movies and pretend like there's nothing Squash or anyone else can do about it. NYAH NYAH!!!!! Did anyone see Mirrors this weekend? I want to know if it's worth going to see, or if I should just watch it at Auntie Torrent's house.

Not to mention the number that the number one prep haberdashery was featured (J. Press). The Bank Job: Everyone liked it; it was okay. Reminded me of the whole Profumo scandal. I guess you might say I'm ambivalent on this one. The Brave One: Slimy. But directed by Neill Jordan, therefore I loved it. My alter was cited, which made it all the more precious.

I know y'all care what I have to say, so yous best shut the fuck up and listen! I saw the final cut of Superhero Movie earlier today and let me go on record that aside from the hot bitch in the wheelchair halfway through the movie, this movie was pure shit! Why the fuck they got that skinny ass white boy from that Nickelodeon show in it? He ain't funny! And it's called Superhero Movie but it's basically a Spider-Man ripoff. Who wrote this shit? They don't love themselves! I fell asleep while watching it, and when I woke up, my head had nodded off and my braid got all in my hot sauce that I was eatin' with some chicken. And don't get me wrong, I love the people who have been my understudy in da' Scary Movie series, but why they in this movie too? They cut out all of my good stuff so they could have Simon Rex get set on fire? Then there was the Pamela Anderson scene where she supposedly havin' an affair with my man. Bitch, please! That 'ho couldn't steal no man of mine. Oh! One thing that I did enjoy about the movie was how the Peter Parker guy was actually in love wit' a blonde, just like that Gwen Stacy bitch from the actual comic. I love it when they stay accurate. I was really impressed with that and wished that they had expanded that more. Actually, they may have, but I had to take a shit and didn't feel like pressin' the pause button on my Playstation 2 controller. Did they expand it futher? Gwen Stacy coulda saved this movie, and I couldn't even see it because I couldn't even finish it. After my scene, I started working on one of 'dem Sadako puzzle books and fell asleep again. Come to think of it, I was pretty full after eatin' some Chinese takeout. Gyrl, there's this place called China Wok down the street and they have the best pork fried rice with chicken tenders I ever ate yo! I'm not even playin'! After I finish typing this review, I'm gonna call them and see if they will deliver some more to my house. Not like I'm doin' anything else, since Ray stood me up again. I think there is somethin' wrong with him. When he was over earlier this week, he cried during The Notebook, that I rented from California Videos. He tried to copy the DVD on his computer, but that thing is shit. He got like 24 megabites of Ram, whatever the fuck that is. Anyway, I'm gonna go call China Wok. This bitch is hongry. I'll give my review of The Notebook some other time. Later y'all!
