Oprah (whatever, it's my day off,bitches) is doing a show today on poverty and how 42% of single mothers live below the poverty line. 42 PERCENT!
Oprah sends Maria Shriver to Louisiana or Mississippi or where ever the Appalachian/ Deliverance folk live. So Maria is talking to this single mother who is 35 years has 5 kids and lives like in some old coal mining town. She has no teeth and she looks like she 55 years old. i mean this woman has had a hard life for sure. And she's poor and she lives on food stamps and she tells Maria that 3 GENERATIONS of her family have been on welfare and on food stamps.
