Jesus, what's your problem? Why do you find it so necessary to defend someone on a TV show? Why do you care that I think Dan is an A-1 wanker? What's it to you?

And don't put words in my mouth, as you contend The Producer has done with Dan. I have never expressed hatred for any religious group nor do I harbor any.

I do, however, possess a reasonable skepticism regarding all religious beliefs since they can't all be right, given their inherent contradictions (for example, does the so-called Judeo/Christian god have a son or not?). And guess what, it's possible all religions are wrong (no one can prove or disprove the existence of gods - that's what faith is all about).

Having been raised a Catholic, however, and having forsaken its beliefs when I came of age, I can't help it if Dan reminds me of some Catholic kids I knew and still know. I may be in error in drawing certain conclusions about Dan based on these associations, but Dan's view of Confession is nevertheless informative given that it is held by many of his faith - that one can sin and not be overly concerned since their god will eventually forgive them. It enables them to rationalize being unethical in life and in business. I even know those who think certain illegal acts are OK since the only law that matters is their god's law and their god always forgives. What a convenient philosophy one could say.

If Dan is to be believed regarding his views on Confession, he stands a good change of growing up to be just like these men I know. And if that happens, I doubt anyone here will think that kindly about dear Dan.

And you can't pick and choose what Dan lied or told the truth about to get on the show. Espcially when you choose only those things that put Dan in the best light.

Oh, yeah, and I'm going to believe what Dan's friends say, as if they could possibly be objective. Their credibility is automatically suspect, much like Dan's.

Finally, I'm not the first guy to give a houseguest shit because of his or her beliefs. Seems that the national sport around her. Or are we only allowed to give gramps shit?
