I think Dan is loyal to Memphis. However, I think he is starting to realize that Memphis might have a final 2 deal with Michelle and that isn't good for
him. Dan has a lot of game talk with Keesha that he doesn't tell Memphis about.

It could be a endurance like the tea cup competition. Remember Zach won that last year. We don't know for sure it is a hanging endurance. We don't know
how good Keesha would do in an endurance comp, she didn't compete before.

sunflower101 wrote:Yeah, I was talking about Zach's "endurance" comp win during BB8 earlier.. not a "traditional" endurance competition, but a prolonged HOH competition that doesn't finish live on TV and takes an hour or two to complete. I'd be excited for something like that! I didn't get to see the bat hang or the teacups lives during BB8 .. enjoyed both endurance comps during BB9 .. I'm looking forward to the HOH comp that we get to see on the feeds, they're always a blast to watch unfold |

I think Dan has a fair shot in an endurance competition....after all, he's not all well muscled like Jerry with all that weight to support...he has the
body of a 13 year old

depends on the type of "endurance" challenge it is. they've already done the one where it favors a smaller, lighter person. ( and that's
likely to show up again in the final HOH part 1)
Maybe this one will require more agility and speed, like the TeaCups one from Season 8. Whatever it is, they better not be setting up a stupid crapshoot comp outside. |

It reminds me of the stories my Pop tells me about his catholic school. There was one particularly smarmy asshole that would get the shit kicked out of him and S'ter Agnes (I'm making up her name because I can't quite recall, but you get the idea) a couple of times would turn a blind eye because even SHE couldn't stand the little ass kisser.

The Truth Hurts wrote:I think Dan is loyal to Memphis. However, He might be just as worried about Michelle as Keesha is. Dan knows that Michelle was in an alliance with Memphis. He might be just as worried that Memphis has other final 2 deals. It benefits Dan just as much to take out Michelle as it does Keesha. Remember in his talk to the live feed viewers. He mentioned about Memphis being Shady. So I think he is completely loyal to memphis, but that doesn't mean he trusts Memphis/Michelle together. |

tdugan333 wrote:Has Dan said he attended Catholic school? I thought he just teaches there? The descriptions above sound a bit different than my own experiences. In the years I attended Catholic school (K-12) I only ever had two nun teachers (and they taught religion). There were a handful of nuns around when I was in elementary school but most had nothing to do with teaching or disciplinary stuff. They were just around. It probably varies from school to school (and decade to decade) so I wouldn't assume all schools are the same but 90% of the teachers I had were regular people (college graduates, married, etc). My take on Renny and Dan: I think Renny's subtle dislike for Dan comes from not trusting him. She's convinced he's an act and she's probably partially right. From what I can tell, Dan values his job and doesn't want to get out of the house to find out he's been fired. So he has to give up part of himself in order to keep from compromising part of his life outside the house. I wouldn't say the reason for Dan's act is because he's got the mentality of a fourth-grader who just wants to get the most gold-stars. The guy's 25 years old or something like that. He doesn't want to lose his job (and probably would have a hard time getting another school to hire him after BB). It doesnt seem like Renny can accept or understand that so it makes her not trust him because with the exception of toning down her personality in the earlier weeks, she has nothing to lose by being herself (from what I can tell anyway). I think that's great for her but I also think its fair for Dan to play the game however he wants. I don't know how he does it though. Spending months in that house not being able to talk about certain things for fear that what you said could get back to your boss and you'd get fired. I don't think I'd last a week. |

Utopian wrote: Catching up with the posts. Going to a Catholic School does not mean you were raised Catholic and even being raised Catholic does not mean you are a devote Catholic or for that matter even be a Sunday only Catholic. Dan strikes me as just an incredible nice guy who does hold dear and live Catholic teachings. I may think his views of females are a little backwards (his saying if we had a female president he would leave the country, I am hoping that was a joke), but he does not strike me as a suck up. Pepaw is the incredible suck up of the season, he is the one that gravitates to the power and tries to put his own spin on everything. Dan is so unlike PePaw. With all the provocation PePaw gave him, I don't think anyone would blame him for getting back at him a little bit at all, yet what does he do? He turns the other cheek and forgives PePaw. Who comes off in the better light, Dan and not the wanna-be street fighter fake Kernal. |
