Remember they thought there was something up with Renny's nominations. He talked with Keesha in the sauna about this too.

I dunno though, I am sure you disagree with me lol The conversation was very awkward and seemed to cause both of them (Renny/Dan) to form a more negative opinion of each other, even if that wasn't the original intent. I can see why he brought it up to Memphis, since they share doubts about Renny. I think Dan tried to build an alliance early on and that blew up in his face. Since then he's been going with the flow. Whether he actually believes keeping Michelle to F4 is a good idea, I don't know. The problem is, and he must realize this, is Michelle will nominate him if she wins HOH. If I had to guess (and I'm probably wrong) he doesn't trust Michelle and he's just humoring Memphis.

But if they make a "4" deal, and its out in the open between them (as was discussed in part) then that would benefit Dan because then Michelle would not put him up obviously. If it was the 2 and 2 thing as originally presented by Dan, then it would be Memphis's job to make sure Dan isn't nominated by Michelle. Thats why I think it would be ok with Dan. Risky, yes, but probably better than what he has right now with Michelle, which is nada.

And just a couple of hours ago, he admitted to Memshit, that there is NO alliance between himself, renny, or anyone else in the house... so therfore, if Ollie and Renny had a deal, so what? And all three female winners (I'm including Maggie for the sake of the argument) were also sitting next to a woman in the Final 2. Danielle, Alison, Ivette respectively. All the male-female matchups (Will/Nicole, Booger/Erikunt, Dick/Danielle) were won by the men. I think there is at least some gender bias going on--and, people usually seem to credit the men with making the moves to reach the end but see the women as just floaters which usually isn't the case.
