This has pretty much killed the show for me. I doubt I will be watching next year.
And about the thing that he said about having no twists being shit, I disagree. The reason this season sucks is the fact that they casted too many gimmick people with no entertainment value. Think about it. The body builder. The really old guy. The Catholic teacher. The Obama supporter in Bush country. The gay cowboy. The New Orleans lady. The black guy. It seems like they didn't want actual entertaining people. They just wanted a cast that they could point at and say "Look how diverse!"
I've said it before and I'll say it again not watching the feeds makes this particular season 100 percent more enjoyable. I have not followed the feeds at all this year but I have pretty much loved every episode. There has been a lot of sensible strategic play, fights galore, several characters who I could end up rooting for, and villains, but no one who I hated to the point of not wanting to watch the show. That is key for me. I villanized Libra, but she wasn't to the point of unbearable to watch like a Jameka or a Friendship. She made for good TV and caused a good amount of conflict.
This will without a doubt crack my top 5 seasons ever list no matter how it plays out down the stretch. Every episode has entertained me and left me wanting more. Again, I can see why live feeders are hating what they are seeing, but I'm really enjoying the hell out of it.
Yeah but I am saying they were casted FOR their gimmick, not because they were entertaining or anything else.
