I met Richard Dreyfuss, got his autograph, a picture and a kiss!� I also met for the second time and got autographs from Cindy Williams, Paul Le Mat, Bo Hopkins and Candy Clark (who I played slots with in the casino). (yes that's my hair) I took lots of car pictures. YaY! I saw lots of crazy people, pets and especially this crazy guy dancing! I wanted to keep filming, but people were running into me. I ordered room service 5 times (weeee!) and had delicious dinners at all the neato restaurants at the Peppermill. Yummers! I drank tons of Rum Orange Crushes by the 3 swimming pools. I got super tan even though I used tons of sunscreen. I like the mermaid pool the most! I won $38 playing poker! I went to Pyramid Lake and fell while climbing a tufa rock formation. I got pretty scraped up on my ass.. but it didn't ruin my vacation! I had a marvelous time!� What did you do this Summer?

Is Reno like a mini-Vegas or something? I love your hair color too! But you need to get it professionally styled soon, I saw what looked like some split-ends and you are far too fabulous to have those.

They stared remodeling two years ago and are changing it to a more Tuscan style establishment. They are still working on the new nightclub and spa with the third waterfall pool still, but they are almost done. The casino and Tower suites are still 70's themed, but the new tower has all Tuscan style rooms, restaurants and lounges. I like both aspects of the hotel. It's really fun finding all the little bars and lounges hidden inside the casino and the hotel towers. Reno is very much like a little Vegas. My hair definitely needs cutting. I had it trimmed two months ago, but the long days at the pool with all the chlorine... the sun, the heat have really fried it. I'm trying to let it grow down to my butt and then I will donate to Locks of Love.

The Tuscan ones look alright tho... We were thinking of staying at the Nugget (remodeled also) but I'm hearing all kinds of shitty stuff about that place, so maybe not.

Definitely go with the new suites at the hotel if you stay there.. although the mirrored ceiling, hot tub in the room and disco lights were kinda fun! This is my favo lounge.. The Fireside. Tons of fun with lots of crazy people hanging out. eta for Snuffy: We go every year for Hot August Nights. It's a huge car show going on at all the hotels and downtown Reno and Sparks. Tons of vintage autos and muscle cars. I've always loved cars and hubby restores them so we have a great time there.

The Peppermill looks great - I had no idea it had been remodeled. Stayed in an old room a few years back - aqua accents everywhere (including the couch) and it had those disco lights up near the ceiling. It was awesome
