I can't believe that Molly Holly would pose in Playboy. Supposedly the person who plays her is an extreme religious good girl type. It would kind of ruin Trish's Anti-Slut angle/personality if she were to pose...

I think the Kane/Lita/Hardy/pregnancy angle was brilliant. Well, not really. I just wanted the 100th post. |

This was her year as far as I'm concerned. I was pleased to see some improvement (wrestling wise) from Stacy Keibler too. Victoria rocks, but she doesn't generate the same heat as she did when she was a heel. |

Any one else think the whole Kane returning thing was fairly anticlimatic?

Especially when they telegraphed it before he "returned".
(Someone blew their cue) Trish and Lita are sparring and suddenly the Kain "flames" go off...gee you think Kain is going to come out in this segment? (You can see the look of confusion in Lita's face) Of course then Gene has to be pretend to be totally shocked when Kain appears on the scene--as if no one in the arena knew he was coming out by that time anyway. On a side note, I find it just silly that Maven is getting an intercontinental title shot. Consider Maven's last 4 single matches on raw: Loss to Randy Orton Loss to Eugene Loss to Gene Snitsky (squash) Loss to Triple-H (Even my grandmother could have pinned him that night) I don't blame Shelton Benjamin for not taking his calls. |

I believe I heard/read in the past that every time Kane is about to come out, they have to load the ringposts with gunpowder or whatever the stuff is to make the fire so the fans in attendance pretty much always know...and yet they cheer like trained animals.

I've been a fan of wrestling since around the time I was 4 (around 1988). I've been watching it less and less these days. Something is just missing, though it is nowhere near as bad as WCW when the NWO came in (it was good for the first few months, but went on waaaaaaaayyyyyyy too long). Wrestling has just gotten too predictable. I miss the days of big upsets, jobber matches, and having a championship match on TV was a huge thing (I am so much a fan of the late 80s/early 90s with all the awful gimmicks). I also miss the women's division. It looked like it was getting good, but the recent cuts destroyed it. Jazz, Nidia, and (especially) Gail were all talented. Alexis Laree (who was in the development leagues, I don't know where she is now) was supposed to be amazing. But, the WWE always screwed up the women's division (1995 could've been great). I miss the good ol' days of wrestling.
I forgot to add that I also loved the ppvs such as the Wrestlemania 1-7. Not every match had to have 8 years of backstory to it. Good matches could occur between wrestlers that weren't feuding. And, finally, I always loved the Royal Rumble, but I hate the winner gets a WWE title shot. That narrows it down to maybe 4-5 winners. A Hacksaw Jim Duggan (winner of the first Rumble )will never win. |

Quote: I agree, i think it would be smarter to say the winner gets a title shot on the next Raw/Smackdown at most. Makes it way to predictable who will and won't win. |

In the first match, Eugene dislocated his kneecap after 15 or so minutes.
Not to be outdone, Lita killed her knee dead 30 seconds into the seocnd match of the show. See you in a another year, Lita. That's gotta hoit! Seriously, she bent her knee completely backwards... match lasted maybe two mintues top. Squash city, job squad style. |
